ok you should get plenty CTC's as We 'lose' about half of ours as OH earns 'too much' (>£24k)
JSA is counted as income for tax credit purposes, have you read the details for MA yet as I'm not entitled to apply until after bubs arrives(I too was on cont-JSA) previously
You're wrong SBWe get WTC and neither of us are 25 yet
Aha, yes, I have just had a looksy there:

If you have kiddies then you can obviously get WTC if you're under 25 and qualify!

Just back from a LOOOOONG walk with the hound - my dog walker is looking after a GSD puppy and we want the two of them to get on as it'll do them both the world of good to go out together once or twice a week. So an hours walk and now I'm !!!!!!ed (wonder if the filters will allow that one LOL)! My back is killing me as are my hips... hohum
At least it was a very promising walk so in a couple of weeks hopefully she'll be used to him and the walker can take both of them out together...
Now.... lunch... I'm starving!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Sami - talk to your OH and let him know that he scares you when he is like this. My mum walked out on my dad when she was 8 months pregnant because his behaviour changed dramatically. She is the strongest person I know and I am so grateful to her for everything she has done for me. When I was a childminder the 2 girls I looked after knew that their parents would fight alot. If they were fighting when I turned up on a saturday morning I wopuld get the girls dressed and take them out for the whole day so they didnt have to be there. Even if a parent isnt violent to a child their behaviour towards them is ingrained. My OH's mother and father were non violent drunks and just let OH bring himself up from a very early age, and he still resents them for that and he is 36.
Please consider what is best for you and your children. If your OH loves you he will change for good. But sometimes leaving is the best thing you can do.
Sorry for such a lengthy post, and I hope it isnt seen as being judgemental, but I feel very strongly about this. PM me if you want a chat, I moved from Hampshire to Yorkshire and have only made a few select friends since then so know how it feels to be alone and not have any one that you can really talk too. Thats why I like this forum so much because you are all so lovely.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

Oh does anyone know how long it takes to get tests back for chlamydia? I'm just wondering if it's worth getting one done now - after all baby is due in 5 and a bit weeks if she's on time and if it takes 4 weeks to get results back it's not really enough time to treat anything IF there was anything
You've all made me super paranoid now for some reason - I've no reason to think I have any infections of that sort but now I can't help worry!

Ah cool thanks Searching
I'll ask the MW today then... As I say - I really don't suspect I'll have it but as you all say - better safe than sorry!!
I'll just tell her I've been speaking to friends (I have! You're all friends) and someone mentioned it and now it has me worried although I have no cause to think I have it it's worrying me...
