Oh and no I don't have any reason to think I have chlamydia - I'm just paranoid
However STIs are one of them things... I think everyone should be regularly tested anyway because it's not that difficult and it could make a huge difference to people...
Tara, no one will judge. No one judged me when I asked the question in the 1st place did they. And I was a bit worried about asking.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0 -
Nikabella - how many weeks are you?
Could it be AF time if you weren't pg? Don't forget that some women continue to bleed around AF time even though they are pg?A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Nikabella when I was in hospital early on at 6 weeks they insisted on booking me a scan before leaving... now bear in mind I was admitted to hospital for severe dehydration and was on a drip for 2 days etc it STILL took them 36 hours to fit me in and I was 3 floors up from the scan unit so could have popped down anytime in less than 5 minutes if there had been room...
I wouldn't like to think how long it would have been if I hadn't been in the hospitalDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Just caught up pheww
Jacksons Mum on freecycle etiquette, If im given something I always bring along a small box of chocs as a thank you, though im not sure if thats standard behaviour. I have given loads of things away and usually get a thanks which im happy with anyway.
(((Hugs Claire Jones))) try to take it easy and relax, I think stress can bring on labour.
Hope it works out for you Glam she sounds like a right interfering spoilsport!! Can your Dad not insist?
On the subject of mucus againwhich is all I have thought about from yesterday, this has put a right spanner in the works for me now
As we are on a sex ban, I had suggested perhaps we do some other things which dont include anything penetrative. Thats now out of the question as I dont want to put DH off for life!! Its already been 2 months, how am I supposed to cope with another 3 months of NOTHING!!!
Starting to really believe this will be my last ever pregnancy.
On the subject of houses, I bought our house by myself during a period we were broke up, before we married. I cant help but think of the house as mine, even though I put DH's name on it and gave him a set of keys once we were back from honeymoon. I think as the caregiver to the children if anything goes wrong then you are entitled to stay in the house with the kids regardless.
Sometimes my DH does my head in so much, I comfort myself with the thought that as soon as the baby is born and sleeping all night, Im going to leave him. (as in chuck him out!!) Let him find someone else to yell at!!0 -
No-one judged me after admitting I'd had Herpes
in the past which can be very dangerous to a newborn!
I got it from a coldsore though as wasn't even sexually active at that time!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Glamazon - I'm 8 weeks & right around the time my second AF would be due. My OH has done loads of googling & keeps saying it could be decidual bleeding etc & I know he could be right but I can't bear to get my hopes up. The blood has had a lot of clots in it since last night but then my AF also has those usually. It's really playing with my head.
MrsTine - That's terrible isn't it! It really makes you wonder about the NHS. We keep talking about getting private health care but then I don't want to loose faith in the NHS, after all we all pay for it.
Last time we went to Leeds SC for a scan (with DD) they were really great, if we pay £70 & everything is ok I wouldn't care (not very MSE I know), in fact I would pay 10 times that to know everything is ok, but if it isn't then I guess it's money spent to keep me from going insane with the not knowing.

I think your right to go get it done tomorrow Nickabella, I know I would.
When I bled at 6 weeks it was very scary. I had to wait 2 weeks for a scan thought the bleeding stopped at around 5 days I think. I kept my feet off the ground and really took it easy, which was hard with a 1 year old as well.
I really have my fingers crossed for you and hope its good news xx
Tara that story is so sad Im sat here in tears. I have a 14 yo daughter and can only imagine your fear and horror back then. Hopefully the op is succesful and she goes on to concieve.
All this talk of chlamydia has made me so paranoid. I have never had the sex chat with DD, I know I should but I would just get so embarrassed0 -
Nikabella, I hope everything is okay at your appointment tomorrow. I can't believe that the NHS can't fit you in sooner for a scan....it's terrible.
Take care
