Just an FYI, you might get to see the heartbeat of you are going to have an ultrasound at your appointment, but you won't be able to hear it using a doppler for a good few weeks yet.0 -

Elle and SB - I'm going to the baby show at the NEC, is that the one you're talking about? Is it better to go Saturday or Sunday?
I'm pretty certain I want a pram from Mamas and Papas and I'm not sure they'll be at the show anyway, and I've only been able to find two cribs that I want (that attach to my bed) so I doubt I'll be making any big purchases there anyway.
!
I went to the baby show in march at the excel centre. Mamas and Papas weren't there themselves (I think anyway, it seems so long ago!) But Glasgow Pram Centre were and they had pretty much every pram you can imagine including Mamas and Papas, to try and buy. It was useful to see them all together to compare different types and brands. My only tip would be to get to the "pram" stands early, as they get REALLY busy and hard to get to the popular prams. Oh
I dont know, my friend said they do it so i just assumed they would haha.
But thanks

I'd definitely agree with ginger biscuits. Keep them near you in bed and eat a couple if you can before you get up. I found that trying to nap when i felt sick also helped. Hope you feel better soon, it does pass eventually!0

Depends on the Midwife and the area. Round here, the don't even attempt to listen till 16 weeks, so not to worry you if they don't find it. Think I was about 20 weeks before they listened, but that is because of the extra padding!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
No, it's only new and I'm almost 24 weeks so it's probably to be expected. The frog is dancing merrily in there and tapping out a tune on my bladder so all seems well.
Might be worth giving Midwife a ring if you can? Just for our own peace of mind, you know how pregnant ladies worry!
I'm wearing flipflops too, I can't get socks on and my shoes have been replaced by ones that look exactly the same, but are at least two sizes too small!
I only got round to getting a wedding ring in October, and I had to take it off in FebStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
