Sarah, I'm so looking forward to going! We aren't going til September tho, so have a long wait! haven't been away since October
Mozzy, I think chicken pox is dangerous for pregnant women, especially in the early stages when it might not be obvious they are pregnant. Wasn't there a Miss Marple about it?

ETA - you get a gazillion bonus points if you can name the pilot and co-pilot :)

ETA again - and a gazillion billion bonus points if you can name the navigator by identifying his knee!

Well, obviously it's Ron and Bill, with Harold sitting behind... :D

ETA: Ahhh, see, mOZzy beat me to it... great minds... :rotfl:

Grateful - the initial loss was fairly easy cos mostly I eat like a pig and do naff all exercise! I am doing GI based stuff plus couch to 5k podcasts for jogging 3 times a week. I was a size 10 10 years ago so I know it is possible. I am currently making chocolate bread and butter puding and a caramel cheesecake for tomorrow, but will be eating none of it. Sniff, sniff.

Tomorrow we have visits from my lovely MIL and FIL, BIL and his GF. I would normally be trotting round cleaning at this point but there is very little left to do. I am vaguely thinking about prepping the veg I am so far ahead. This is weird. Thanks again Pigepn for the lists, Toots for the stars and everyone for the support.

    Thursday Scrub-a-dub ~ bathroom/loo and cruddy study!
    Level One
    100 things out 42 done

Managed to do a lot of shopping today, and was thrilled to find new dryer balls (JML ones) in boots for only £4.88, so I got them free with my voucher from pigsback, as one of ours (cheap ones from Mr T) has developed a hole in it, and is falling apart.

Also took all of our glass bottles to the recycling bank, so have cleared a bit more of the kitchen worktop.

Off to put the dinner on so that I can watch Britain's Got Talent with the rest of you.

Only 58 things left to get rid of - hope I can find some - will ask OH cos I'm sure he's got loads to get rid of as I've been quite efficient since being back on the thread after all of the filing and flinging and charity shopping and freecycling.

    Hope everyone is well.

Look forward to hearing the details of the London meet. Will need to find out how to get to London Waterloo as I've always gone to Victoria in the past. If I book my train ticket in advance online, I can get a Day Save ticket for £10 which gives me unlimited travel on the Southern lines on that day (which go up to Victoria).

    See you all tomorrow,

    Love it ladies! :rotfl:

Though Rose, it would have to be Louis Theroux's Dad. The picture must have been taken in the late '60s, or '70s. and the navigator could be Dr Who but not David Tennant - he was only born in 1971.

You can just tell the people who are sci-fi geeks and those who are sensible can't you... the sensible ones haven't got a clue about the REAL world have they?... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:(PS: I loved the stuff about the bus in Dubai, thanks for that...)

and i think dd has got chickenpox

i am not 100% certain though

how likely is it that ds has it too???????? - he doesn't show any signs

Incubation is 2-3 weeks so he will get it then!! they NEVER get things at the same time!! apart from icky chucky bugs.. :p

Though DS2 had chickens when he was 5.. and I didn't realise for a few days.. 3 weeks later 11 children from his class, 4 of mine and my brother all had them.. oops... including DD3 who was 15 weeks old.. and 2 weeks later she had measles!! The younger they are when they get it the less likely they will be very ill and the less chance of secondary infections.. so they say!! 2 of mine were very poorly but the other 6 were all fine. (tiddles had them at 17 weeks.. 2 weeks after Moomin and 4 years after the others)
