Mmmmmmmm! Had my mince pies yesterday after Sunday lunch, warmed up with Double cream on!:D
Have to say they were in my opinion the best mince pies I have ever tasted, rich, moist alcoholic flavour, crisp pastry:T
Trouble is at £2.49 for 4 they are too expensive for me for general use(used to bogof on stores own brands), but might add a pack for us on xmas day as they were good:D"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Have other people had the free chocolates voucher? I got mine a couple of days ago, but when I went into Waitrose today they only had the cocoa dusted almonds left. Boo. I took them anyway as they might be a good backup present for someone!!0

have emailed, and no replies except automated responses so far. I'd love a pack of chocs! Take a break

I got my Chocolates voucher on Weds! I think I will have to get my hubbie to pick them up unless they will still accept the voucher christmas eve!

My choc voucher expired 24th Dec:
I went to store 23rd but they had no stock.
Went to CS (they were all very jolly!) very busy but the supervisor said they'd run out of stock.
She then extended my voucher, like a Tesco 'raincheck' one, so I could collect a box next time I went into shop, not giving any expiry date.
I didn't ask for this and assumed it was normal.
Went back this week, couldn't find choc's, so asked assistant for help.
He explained they were a Christmas line and they wouldn't get any more in.
He also added the voucher shouldn't have been extended because 'we don't do that'.
I said it wasn't fair because my voucher had been extended and I'd made a special visit.
A manager overheard me and said I could chose other chocs to the same value.
I got 3 nice organic 'posh choc's', original price over £5 a box each, reduced to £2.50 each.
Took them to manager at CS and he gave me all 3 for my £3.99 voucher.
Very impressed, not opened them yet, they are in the chocolate mountain just waiting.
LLWe are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars........................0 -
