Remember the new Derren Brown series is all about the lottery etc - and the follow up is telling people how he did it! You will find out soon enough, suffice to say he did not actually randomly pick the numbers! Real time vs delay...?

What you don't know is that the draw was at 8pm but the BBC showed the "live" result show at 10.30pm!! Just look on the lotto home page for when the draw happens!

Typical Derren junk in my opinion..... he even went on about 'it was illegal to show the balls before the BBC' - erm, me thinks not! LOL.

Where on the BBC Lottery site does it say the draw is not live?

You have managed your card well and Vanquis have awarded you with an increase, continue like that and this will only improve your credit score.

Do you have any defaults etc which may be having an impact on your score.

    Defaults indeed

Mate I never meant it isn't live. There are multiple versions of the word 'live' and you need to separate the live that you watch to the actual live recorded time.

So, lets say the lottery was filmed live in a closed studio (with the necessary witness which is all that is required) at 8pm and recorded (so recorded live yea?) BUT it was not viewed until 10.30pm and this is classed as the live result show - not the live draw. Following me....?

    See this: http://www.lotterypost.com/game/253
    UK National Lotto 6/49

Game Type:6/49Drawing Days:Wed, SatDrawing Time:8:00 PM GMTMidday Game:NoDraw Method:Mechanical Lottery Ball MachineCurrent Jackpot:£7 Million ($11.7 Million) for the drawing on Saturday, September 12, 2009
Then look at lottery pages terms and see what I mean about the rules, it doesnt say it has to be live - just that it has an adjudicator present.

Hmmmm, me smells a rat

I'm happy when I get to a grand cos could come in useful, in an extreme emergency . The current £500 is no use whatsoever......
