Vanquis Increases / Statements

Not got mine, but people say common theme is month 3/4, then month 10, then not sure after that, if you read through the thread there are loads of posts on this

Its usually

£250 - £500 to start

Increase to £500 - £750 after 4 statements (can be upto 7 though)

Increase to £1250 - £2000 after 7 statements (can be up to 12 though)

But varies, although that is a good indicator.

When I got my vanquis card back in may, I had to wait nearly two weeks before I got the phone call from vanquis.

I got a £500 limit with an APR of 34% for purchases and 41% for cash.

My card was also the Abacus card design but I thought this card was no longer issued. Any thoughts?

Still no limit increase. Get my 4th statment on 20th so hopefully goto 1250.

I've applied and got "we are unable to give you an instand decision, we'll be in touch 10-14days"

blimey, so i just sit by the phone waiting for the call, or do they do it by post?
also i've read the turn around could be as much as 3 weeks!!

im only after one to boost my credit profile, but im afraid i'll end up missing "the call"

Dont worry, they will call quiet a few times if you miss their call. You can call them back once they leave the phone number because that is what i did. I just hit redial.

Been reading this with interest I got my vanquis card in april 2008 with a credit limit of £250 ive never missed a payment in all that time yet ive never had a credit increase, they even had the cheek to raise my interest rate last month. Ive checked my credit file and its fine, cutomer services wont discuss it on the phone as your not allowed to ask for a credit increase, so the cards going in the bin and ill stick with my debit card

my vanquis limit has been raised for the first time. Went from £500 to £1000.

raised on my 4th statment.

Just checked my call credit file and Vanquis are now reporting to them.
