Oooh i should be able to apply for a vanquis card in about 6 months lol

Just cleaning my credit file up after bankruptcy, was discharged last novemeber, but to be honest i have about 10 defaults which will be 18 months old now (when fully corrected on my file)

So im guessing i would just be declined anyways lol

Do you think it would be a good idea getting one of those prepaid cards which helps build your credit?

    Thanks

Prepaid that you pay for (i.e. cashplus builder thing) is a waste of money - wait til the defaults are gone then apply to vanquis as they will most likely say no so soon after b/r.

remember you aint out the woods yet, most credit app's ask if you've ever been made b/r in the past - when you answer yes it will still hold against you for a few years..... you may get vanquis and sub priime but mainstream is that i'm afraid, far away on the horizon......

I think I am still waiting an increase....... Oh well.

maybe because I changed my address?

Not to concerned, maybe me only spending about £50 a month on it causes the probs.

Thats strange mate but they will probs do it after 7 - seems that most people get one by their 7th statement. I did post all the dates ages ago but can't remember! lol
