Thanks for the thanks but I suspect you'll soon realise that in truth Costco doesn't save you money. Sure, you pay less for a lot of things so you save in that way, but you see so many nice things there that you end up spending far more. e.g. TVs, appliances, tools (especially tools!), furniture, wines & spirits, etc.

If you decide towards the end of your membership year that you aren't going to renew (surprisingly some people do) then don't forget that you get a full refund of membership at any time during your membership year. Go in during month 11 and they'll still give you a refund.

I think I will make back my membership in pepsi alone. DH drinks loads of the stuff and doesn't like the cheaper alternatives. Apart from that I will try my best to be disciplined! I'll remember the money back thing though just incase.

BTW, if anyone likes noodles, they were doing a taster of their "kimichi" noodles, I think they're £7 or so for 12 BIG pots (think supernoodles lunch pot size on a bigger scale!) (I make no promises that this is cheaper than Makro, Sainsbury's etc etc - although I will confess to never seeing them in those shops!)

They were YUMMY! Well worth trying. I particularly liked the fact that in the pot, the vegetables were in a seperate little bag and the sauce was in a seperate little bag, so you could make the noodles how you liked them, rather than how the manufacturers deemed you should have them.

I finally got some boots today, woohoo! Milton Keynes Costco seem to have a few bigger sizes out now -6's and 7's, I got the grey as they will go with most things.
  • Well, I picked my sheepskin boots up last night from Trafford Park (Manchester). I usually wear size 5 UK, and having tried the size 4 on, I am happy that they are perfect (remember they should be a snug fit initially, as they mould to your feet when you wear them)

I bought an adult pair in grey at £32, and a youth pair in black for £17(no VAT!). The only difference being that the adult boots are longer, calf length, whereas the youth boots are only a few inches high, but they will fit under my jeans perfectly, so I'm happy :T

There were a fair few pairs left, but the majority of adults were size 4 and under, and only a handful of size 4/5 left in the youth sizes.
