I registered and they called me back about it today. Apparently you get a 6-8% discount (this is on a small car, not sure if discount depends on the model) on top of any other discounts they are offering. They said that you are free to haggle as you would normally do, and the extra discount is applied after you agree a price. Probably still too expensive for me, but I will see what the dealer has to say anyway.0 -
Costco Farnborough (Hampshire) is opening this Saturday if anyone is interested0

I went to Costco Leicester and at the tills they said you can upgrade to Executive for £25 and if you don't build up enough cashback to make £25, they would give you the difference towards your membership renewal. Is this true?0

That is their policy. I think you have to claim the difference back rather than have it automatically applied against your next membership renewal, but Costo are straight with their T&Cs so I wouldn't have any worries.
If you're going to make any big purchases it's worth upgrading membership to Executive.0 -
quick question - are the items which are promoted in the monthly offers leaflet, sold online (especially the larger items)?0

You'd be best to go online and just look I think. I think they are totally different but don't quote me.

there are items for sale at costco.co.uk, but they don't match up to offers in the booklet. i just wasn't sure if it's something they regularly do, and the website might be updated soon...0 -

Hi everyone,
Just a quick question about sofas/chairs from Costco. Has anyone bought any and what was your opinion on the quality? Are they hard wearing or would I be better buying from somewhere else?
Thanks!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Thanks!
I haven't bought sofas from Costco but everything I've ever had from there has been great quality and they have a great no quibble returns policy - my steam room/shower unit developed a fault on the controls after about 4 years (might have been 5!!!) and when I asked if they could get me a new part they said they couldn't but offered me a complete refund if I wanted to return the whole unit, I didn't take them up on it because they don't sell them anymore and the difference between what I paid there and the next cheapest meant it was cheaper to replace the part myself even though it was £160.0
