I can only imagine how excited I would be if Costco were to build a new warehouse close to me! Trouble is, I would be in there every week and it would probably bankrupt me!

hehe. We have the reward card, so we'll transfer all milk, bread type purchases there to get the money back :)

I probably will go in just to browse around and see what's new... the bonus of cheap lunch too is always good :D

(I really don't know why I don't apply for a job there LOL)
  • Have you checked the reviews of that mascara though? They're dire!!!

After trying the mascara for a few days, I can report that I think it is quite good. It certainly isn't a dramatic false lash effect mascara, but I don't buy high end stuff (usually £6 or £7 or so), and it compares well with the No7 mascara I was last using, and makes a good every day one. I haven't had any problems with it flaking or smudging as several reviewers report. Worth a punt for the price in my opinion.
  • Does anyone know how much the Brabantia ironing board is? I know it was previously reduced but I missed out :-(
    Thanks
  • Has anyone used the Kirkland Signature shampoo & conditioner? Would you recommend it?

We use it as an alternative to tresemme. The conditioner has a slightly odd smell, but apart from that, its good value for money, especially as the pump dispenser regulates how much even a teenage boy can use
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

How much is it? I usually use Tresemme (which is currently on offer in Asda!) but always illing to try something else. DO they do one for coloured hair? Thanks x

Nope, it's one type for shampoo and one type for conditioner. Remember this is Costco so they don't stock lots of different varieties. The bottles used to be a LOT bigger and you'd get two. I think the shampoo is now a lot more concentrated though so it's gone down to one bottle and a slightly smaller pack size for the same price.

I use the Kirkland Moisture Rich shampoo, it's very good (and smells exactly like the Paul Mitchell stuff my hairdresser uses). If I remember correctly it's about £8 for a litre container (lilac colour) with a pump dispenser. I don't depress the pump fully, as I find it dispenses too much for my short hairdo.
I can't comment on the conditioner as I don't use any. HTH :)

really? It can make a teenage boy actually use shampoo on his skanky locks? !!!!! :rotfl:
  • Whilst I was searching the internet I discovered a review stating that this shampoo is actually made by Paul Mitchell and also a Kirkland Vodka is actually produced by Grey Goose! Not sure on the accuracy of this but would be interesting to find out!
