Do you always criticise people's lifestyle choice?Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -

I'm not sure of the price of the chicken breasts, but I'm sure they are much cheaper than the supermarkets as they are bigger. If I use them for a curry etc I only normally use one, which we find enough for two of us. Hth
Just be aware that they aren't free range though.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

a packet of chicken breast - about 2.5kg - costs around £14. it's dependent on the actual weight of the pack. I think the kilo price is about £6.50Signature removed by MSE Forum Team.0 -

If MAKRO is an option, either for yourself or via a friend or relative, then Chicken Breast fillets are just £4 a kilo (5 or 6 in a 1kg pack)
You can also get 5kg packs - either "portion controlled" (each fillet within 20 grams of each other - min 210g to max 230g I think) for £19.99
OR a non "controlled" one for £19.49
Bought some today (and many times before) and they are excellent.
On a related matter - TURKEY
Today I also picked up a fresh Turkey BUTTERFLY that I'll be cooking for a Christmas lunch a week tomorrow.
It's just both breasts (still joined) with the skin - No bones or carcass like a crown.
Just £3.69 a kilo - mine was almost 6kg and cost just under £22
That should be enough for 32 diners.
That is about as big as they come, the smallest are about 4kg.
Excellent quality and value - this must be the 5th year we've had one of these.
