Come on Abby, get a backbone!! I mean this in the nicest possible way (my sister is one of life's worriers...I most certainly am not) but you should have people treating you with respect and if they don't, don't just take it! Don't worry about your crappy old job, don't worry about the girls in the office (they're just jealous they're not packing it in too!) and don't worry about your flatmates! Just tell them "I'm off to Spain" and bloody go!! You should have told your boss to eff off when he was going on about the fine and walked out then and there! People will take advantage of your sweet nature if you let them.0

Well done abby, dont let them talk you into going back! Whos going to have your kitty when you go away?0

Well done and all the best for Spain!0

Just remember you don't have to give a reason or explain yourselves to them. If they really push you then just state, "personal reasons" and leave it at that.
It would maybe be a different matter if you had been there years and years and the company relied on you in a very senior position, but you haven't and they don't!
Don't feel pressured to explain, just get that flight booked asap!!!!!!!!!
By the way, although you don't have an ebay account or anything, could you not see if the new flatmate or your existing ones want to take anything off your hands for a few quid? Even if it's just the odd tenner it will add to your funds!

Mini update,
the response to my email and btw most of my anger today does stem from the window incident.
Went something like "you know he was joking, MD says youre not in trouble, job still here for you, I was worried as when your ill you let me know first thing"
She is a really caring person.
Then my operations manager phoned me to tell me i was a "noberette" and that he was only joking and he'd said £600,000 and that I am his favourite member of staff. He is twisting it a little bit, he did say £600.... But I know he was just trying to make me feel better and now I feel like a total noberette.
Someone above posted something about them trying to make me come back...ARGHMoney money money.

Oh and if I do go, regarding my belongings etc.... I can leave it here. Or I have clothes shoes handbags, a printed and a really smelly kitten. Cor she really stinks of wee.
I would be able to find a home for her as shes only 9 weeks old, I'm sure plenty of people would love a kitten but I'd be responsibly in finding her a homeMoney money money.

So did you send the email? Or just not turn up?
Don't feel sick. Feel positive."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
I did both, I didn't turn up and then wrote an emailMoney money money.

Go to Spain. GO TO SPAIN!!
Spanish is a useful language anyway and command of it will make you more employable in the long run, as does any second language.:idea:0 -
Also the kitten was abandoned by her mother at 7 weeks old, shes medically sound but she has adopted me as her mother. I'm sat on my bed sort of upright and shes asleep on my"bosom" SMELLING OF WEE.
