I've just read this thread. I'll go if you don't!!
I'm the same age as you, please do this for yourself. It's an amazing opportunity and as someone who has missed out on a lot because of my old job (inc modelling contract!!!!grr!), please don't miss out on this.
Take the opportunity. If things are poopy out there, you can come back.
You will ALWAYS wonder "what if" if you don't go.
Hope the packing goes well!! Book the flight today before you change your mind hehe
Start a journal thingy on here so we can hear about it all!

Hmmmm I think I will start a journal!!
Well just so you know
I havent emailed work yet, I might do it tonight so that when they've all gone home.
I spoke to a really nice girl today about taking over my room, she is living with her mum and wants to move out, she doesn't get paid till the 20th but I have paid this months rent anyway so I said she might as well live here. She has no furniture so I will leave it.
So today I need to go get a new suitcase (only if my new pin arrives in the post)
I need to tidy up, basically make a pile of stuff I'd take and stuff I'd give away. I don't have an ebay account otherwise I'd sell my printer and exercise bike.
Need to confirm travel plans.. If I am flying to La Coruna I don't know if I have enough money. I have £240 for a suitcase and travelMoney money money.

There you go, you're getting sorted already! Plenty of shops with cheap suitcases: primark, matalan, argos. Get the flight before Easter or the price will shoot up. Ooh I think we're all excited for you abby, best of luck xx0

Nice one! The best thing any furute employer could wish for is someone who has lived life and experienced another country. it will improve your job prospects in the future. Bets of luck. I left NZ when I was in my mid 20's and 11 years later I am still here now married with kids and loving my life. Take the chane - you never know what might happen.0

Good for you! Go to Spain! You are young, you will regret it if you don't. Not everyone gets the chance so grab it.
Don't worry about leaving your job. I left my last one without a new job to go to - handed my notice in, they let me go the week after. I was 35 then with a mortgage and living on my own. If I can do it with those sort of financial commitments then there's nothing stopping you. Nor did it hinder me in getting another job.0
