    Where'd you get that from??????

To be honest, you get what you pay for to a certain extent. If you go for a £99 deal, then dont expect it to last. The supplier has got to cut corners somewhere otherwise they wouldnt make money on the deal.

If you are going to a private clinic they are either giving you a lower price to get you in as a customer so that they can market you in the future or they are cutting costs somewhere along the way to ensure they make money.

However, we charge £45 an area of botox and that is because we are a training company where medical professionals inject you as part of their training session. That is why you get it for that price, we do not make money on this and we don't charge a lot because we know you are a guinea pig for us. Even so, you still get a 2 week review with a top up (charged for) if it is needed and our delegates are fully supervised in the process.

Well Cliff Richard as been having botox done for years around 30.... and he looks really well and is healthy not much wrong with his brain .... :A

But I'm guessing Sir Cliff has not been trawling the internet for the cheapest price, and going to some half qualified beautician who's done a Saturday morning course, and sources her supplies from the cheapest Chinese internet site she can find?
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
  • Hey everyone

Just be careful when clinics are offering really cheap Botox treatments. People tend to trivialise Botox but if used in the wrong hands there can be complications. My wife used a clinic (I wont mention the name) and she ended up having a droopy eye lid for about 3 months which she was devastated about. Just make sure they are using genuine Botox from Allergan as this is the one that is FDA approved. As for the price of Botox I found this article useful:

Good luck everyone but be careful!

This will be nothing to do with the botox used and probably everything to do with where it was placed. Dentists study facial anatomy for years, dissect head and faces and spend years studying facial anatomy yet most defense organisations will not indemnify them to carry out botox treatment . The face is anatomically highly complex, and botulinum toxin is an unknown when used year in year out. It is not metabolised and is deposited in the brain, liver and research is ongoing about possible problems with nerve deposition.

It is a potent medication, it has many medicinal uses where the benefits outweigh the many risks. But anyone having treatment with it for cosmetic reasons who thinks it is a risk and cost free treatment suitable to be done by anyone with a few days training needs to think again.
  • Dermadoc clinic in Harley street and Hammersmith are very reasonably priced. Also the Doctors are very well trained and experienced there.

By the way a vial of original Allergan Botox cost £70 and that can do 3 areas. You can imagine how much these clinics make!!! Obviously depending on how big the company is determines the price!
Harley medical are expensive, and good but they use the same nurses/doctors as some other cheaper clinics. They difference is that they greet you in a nice way and provide you with freebies to take away.
The best clinics i have tried so far that have been cheap and excellent results have been Dermadoc Clinic and SKN clinic (whenthey have their offers!). Back when i had my botox, Dermadoc was charging about £150 for one areawhich is reasonable. Occasionally they change their prices! Very good results and trusted doctors who are reassuring at the same time.

EXACTLY. Make sure any practitioner is medically qualified (i.e. NO hair stylists or beauticians !!!), insured etc.

Agree what you say but there are other forms of botox that IMHO are superior. i.e. Xeomin.
