Botox, what's a good price ??

  • I have botox done before my birthday and Christmas at Colchester dental practice in cardiff. It costs £250 per area but they do open evenings where the price is reduced. The results are fantastic.

£250 per area is very expensive. I know I'm not allowed to advertise on here but I know of several practitioners in the South Wales area who, for 3 areas, at least, would charge about 40% of this.

Personally, I dont think botox is worthy.
try some mesotherapy maybe better. I got treamented before, and that's nice.

    Treamented?

    Have you ever had botox?
  • Hey everyone! I wanted to ask you about risks of botox. I've looked through many reviews, and they made me really scared. I've seen all those scary pictures illustrating negative consequences of botox, and I'm not sure now whether it's safe to have such surgery. What would you recommend?

Make sure you go to someone medically qualified (No hairdressers or beauty therapists), someone properly trained and insured.

Any advice on reputable botox clinics Liverpool area please .
  • I think Botox is like getting your hair cut. You can spend money and it looks wonderful or you can get it done cheap and they mess it up. There are so many things that can go wrong and my dentist says that the more she learns the more worried she is about complications. I would not dream of getting it done by anyone other than a dentist because they just study the face and nothing else. I have looked at cosmetic surgeons too but they are too expensive. There are a couple of good places where I live and I get 3 areas x 3 times a year for £900. If I just want three areas then it's £325 but my dentist says it's not about one-two-three areas. That is how the cowboys rip people off. If I need a bit more she just puts it in.

Yep. I get mine done at Smileworks. Prices above. Sorry thought we were not allowed to put names of clinics in but we are if asked. It's not as expensive as it looks and MJ is the absolute best of the best.

Teddy why have you just joined Mse to open an old thread ?
    Smells like spam to me.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

  • Sorry where do you get yours done? I googled it and this thread came up. What do you mean spam? I only wrote one reply? It says I am new at this!

I'm thinking of trying Botox for the 1st time and would like to get an idea of prices. Only a couple will tell you over the phone or on the internet, they all seem to want to drag you in for a consultation (free). I know that is a good idea but it wastes time when you find out its more than you wanted to pay.

They seem to talk in areas, 1 area being £175 2 areas £325 and 3 areas £450. Thats in my local clinic anyway. I think this is on the more expensive side and would like to know how much the Harley Medical Group charge (they won't say over the phone).

Does anyone know how much I should be paying for Botox ? I am in Chester if that helps.

    Thanks
    Hi Lizzy
I go to Dermadoc Cosmetic Clinic in London (i believe they have a branch in manchester too) and I pay £160 for one area botox. this also includes free top up treatment two weeks later. i really recommend Dr F Tukmachi or Dr Tan for treatment. both highly professional and lovely friendly docs.
