No replies here, but anyhow, I visited Beresford Clinic In Bishopsteignton, Devon (after some not so good consultations elsewhere) and had botox and filler treatments yesterday.
It's a great place where you are definitely pampered and cared for, and I can't wait for a week or so to pass to see the final botox results! (I go back in a couple of weeks for a check and free top up if needed)
Oh and see my 'grumpy cat' avatar pic? Well my mouth was downturned like his due to deep marionette lines, but I now have a happy face again

I've been going to a great group of doctors in Manchester for a while, and they've really made me realise that you get what you pay for. They are not the cheapest, but they spend time really understanding what your needs are, tailoring the treatment so you get exactly what you want, and make you feel comfortable and at ease, and never rushed. I wouldn't focus on price, I would focus on the reviews. my clinic is Skinviva if you are from the North west I would recommend them highly. I've seen both Dr Lucy and Dr Tim Pearce and both were wonderful with me. They have excellent reviews too.0

Hi, would you please message me the details of the dr you had your Botox done with, I'm thinking of having it done for the first time and want to start with someone who has been recommended, thank you.0

Am only young but wanting botox in my forehead as I have deep lines (always have done from childhood) and they make me look tired and age me. Plus I don't know if its possible but i'd like botox to give my eyebrows a lift. I have naturally hooded eyes on the outside of my eyes and I can't afford nor fancy an operation to solve it just yet. When a raise my eyebrows I look so much better.
Would this class as 2 places or just one?
I live in Liverpool so if anyone can recommend a good place and price be great.0 -

This is not necessarily true: Botox administered by a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in London and the South East can be had for £200 for one area and £100 for additional areas - which seems similar to the price charged by beauticians, dentists, GPs, paramedics etc. These other groups may also provide an excellent service (and at other times may not), but price alone doesn't appear to be the reason not to choose someone who is completely specialised in this.0 -
I saw on the programme superscrimpers that a young lady had her botox done for free at her local college when students were practising. Our local clinic offer fillers for a reduced prices to be a volunteer for students to practise on. Wowchers do offers
Does anyone know of any colleges or unis doing this .
Ive had botox and fillers and I must say Ive been very happy with the results. Ive had them both done once.0 -
I am actually quite cross that a proper dental practice thinks that spamming this forum is a professional way to behave!
Please can moderators delete this post when last 2 are deleted pls!
If the actual practice looks at this before it is deleted - can you just think how this behaviour reflects on your practice, and delete them yourself? How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
Spam reported. Disgraceful. I remember the days when the GDC would jump on advertising rather than not writing batch number of la.0
