I got this reply yesterday as I wrote in to say that I had missed day 7

Oh no Rosie what a let down and a bit on the harsh side too.

  • A friend told me about this forum - that there was a bunch of people giving out the answers to The Hours competition.

What a bunch of sad losers. Is this really how you get your thrills? Showing off to others as pathetic as you?

Some of you suspect you are contributing to a piece of art! - Get real.

The funniest though are the ones who are whinging because they weren't allowed to post an answer late. ROFLAO

Oh dear TopsyTurvey - bad day? Couldn't sleep last night? You seem a little angry - why is that?

Surely, the sad losers are the ones who don't look back and read the whole thread....?

    It's like a tourette's bark otherwise.

Let's keep up the good work! I'm so proud of you all for doing this!

I can't wait for this competition to be over and done with so the petty squabbling ends...well knowing this place it'll go elsewhere. I've not been entering this myself as I have nowhere to safely store such an item and can't afford the insurance. In a way, I also dread a MSE'er winning as I am sure they'll get lots of vitriol and backlash but it would be lovely if some of you could prove me wrong.

"I've not been entering this myself as I have nowhere to safely store such an item and can't afford the insurance." - Why not donate it to your local Art Gallery...It's just a painting afterall...Not even a very good one. :):):)

I think you're underestimating how difficult it is to trickle a tin of paint onto a spinning canvas from a great height:rotfl:

I really don't think it at all on the harsh side :o
Yeah it may be annoying and might seem unfair but how can people expect to have the rules changed for them when they have been clearly stated on the website and in the newspaper from the beginning?
Surely 24 hours is enough time to find internet access elsewhere at a friend, neighbour or family member's house/library/internet cafe/etc if you want to badly enough...
