I hvae found the perfect font but haven't a clue how to make it ino a piece to print, any ideas? The insert is A6 size but will only be printing on one half of this after it is folded to go inside the card blank. It's driving me batty lol!!!

Hi Tigerlilley ask the girls on the Making Cards thread they are absolute darlings, so helpfull and friendly, let me know when you get 1 as thats what I'm struggling with and I'm using A6 cards too. What font are you using we can't decide I like Harrington but OH is not so sure.
    Booo!!!
  • Hi Violetta, I managed to find one on the net, the link escapes me at the mo, but I will hunt it down down tomorrow and post it on here for you at some point. The font we have gone for is Scriptina. I have managed to print all the inserts tonight so I am really pleased and they look really professional. The inserts are hammered ivory card, and the card blanks are normal ivory card, although they are really good quality. I stuck the inserts in using a small piece of double sided tape along the fold and then fixed the insert to the top so they are free moving. We went for really simple wording. The ceremony ones read xxxxx and xxxxx invite you to their wedding and then stated the plac date and time and added rsvp details at the bottom. The reception only cards read exactly the same except I changed the word wedding for wedding reception. They really are fab and I can't wait to get sticking the photos and diamantes on the front tomorrow.

Jane Austen is a lovely font too. You can download it free from here.

Hi everyone, how are you all? I have now got a photographer booked. It's quite a bargain really. The actual photographer would normally cost £1500 but I only want one for 2 hours and just want all the pictures on a cd, not overly fussed about an album. The photographer was booked for our date, so he is sending another photographer whom he assures me is very good and he will take the pics and the really good photographer will edit them all. It's only costing £375 which I am overjoyed with as every other quote I have had has been over £600, hoorah!! Which now means the photgrapher comes in within budget so we are still on target for £2000!!!

I have been into town this afternoon and have found some gorgeous ivory roses in the market, silk ones, so I bought six, some baregrass and some green florist tape and I'm going to make the bridesmaids bouquets myself!!!!! I still have diamante pins left so I am going to stick one in the centre of each rose. I will post pics as soon as I have made them. The roses, grass and tape cost £8 so that means each bouquet will have cost £4 each, with a bit of luck they might look half decent.

You're so creative! I wish I was, I could save even more money! Although going to have a go at making my own invitations and centre pieces. Going to try and re-create these ones in my own colour scheme (may have to use different vases from ikea but you get the idea!).

Thanks Nat. I love the Martini Glass centrepiece they are gorgeous. I saw some tumblers today in poundland, 3 for £1 to be exact lol, and the glass in them was really thick so I was wondering if I could use them with votive candles in to go around the table in addition to the pillar ones? I'm sure they would be ok. If you want any tips about invitations let me know. I will pot some pics of my finished articles soon!
