Hiya Tiger, looks like your doing well with all the plans. Wasn't sure if you'd got the flowers sorted yet. I did my wedding on as little as possible last year also (although parents had £5k put aside, I only spent £3k of it :) most expensive part for me was my dress, once I saw it I fell in love!) If you haven't this is where I got mine, www.floralpride.co.uk I have hayfever and didnt want to spend my day sneezing with runny eyes (ruin the masterpiece that the make up girl had done on me!!) and nose so opted for silk :D I love your dress, looks gorgeous :)

Hi Nat thanks for the advice on the fabric. I don't want the veil, but am now undecided whether I should have a small tiara, fascinator like the one in the seond picture or a diamante hair comb. Is the Ivory from Milly very creamy in colour? I think I want wither the colour in the pic or a colour close to white but not as bright as white. Totally unsure now lol!!

I don't think that the ivory is very creamy but it depends on what you class as 'very creamy'!!! The dark ivory that Landy do is what I'd class as very creamy. Milly's ivory and Landy's ivory are the same shade.

I think the fascinator is gorgeous and would be lovely with your dress. Very elegant!

I think I might have to order a fabric swatch. I just want it to be off white nat not cream, it's really hard to describe lol! Tiger xx

  • HI there everyone. How's your Easter break going. I have had my email from Milly this morning about the bridesmaid dresses and the prices are fantastic. £34 for the flowergirl dresses although I am undecided which one I want now, typical lol!! The bridemaid dresses will be £47 and they are going to do the crystals for free because there aren't many.

wow! Those prices are good! Dresses looks lovely - I like the minimal diamantes.
  • HI all, well I must say I am a little frustrated this afternoon. After pricing up favour boxes on Ebay this afternoon, I just can't see the need to pay upwards of £10 for little boxes, so I have come up with a plan. I have found a brilliant pyramid template which I can print on the home computer and then I am going to go and buy some ivory card in town and print and make my own favour boxes. I am finding it a little difficult though to make the edges meet on the prototype box, which is causing me no end of annoyance lol. I am going to tie the top of the boxes together with ribbon at the points to keep them shut. If anyone would like the template then let me know. They will then double as place cards aswell which again saves money, Hoorah!!! Tiger x
p.s. Will post pics once I have figured them out! x
