I turned 26 the week after my son was born. Our son was planned and we both felt it was the right time as we both had secure jobs and had bought our house.
My son is now almost 3 and DH wants another one but I keep putting it off and really think I wont have another one now. I hated being pregnant as I was really ill throughout my whole pregnancy and I am terrified it would be the same. I enjoy my time with my son now than when he was a baby and he was a textbook child and slept all night from 5 weeks and they say you dont get 2 the same.0 -
I was 18 when I had my daughter. I'm now 21 and really want another one but i've one more year of uni left and my oh is doing his finals now so we are waiting to get on our feet first. I was quite lucky becuase i have a wonderful fiance and both our families are really good and I couldnt have asked for more support form them. I have no regrets at all. My daughter came at the right time for me.0

I was 16 with my first 21 with my second and 24 with the third. I have no regrets yet i wouldnt advise anyone to have children in their teens as its tough being a parent at any age however dealing with disapproval from strangers is hard although now there seems to be more services accessable to teenparents and less for the older parents.0

As long as everything goes OK I will be 26 when Bean arrives.
Always wanted to wait until we had bought a house before we started a family - not sure why I just think I wanted some stability in my life.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I was 22 but I am new to this and need some help. I can't work out how to post a new thread/ask a question. Sorry to use this to do that but really need some help here. Thanks0

They are now 8 and 4 (almost 5)0 -
Well I'm going to be 33 when our first arrives.
I think we should have started earlier but the way I look at it we are now happy to give up nights out as well as having a stable home, jobs etc.
Although I think that if we had started earlier we would have survived just as well. You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -
Hi OP, I was 21 when I had my daughter (she's 2 now) and in an ideal world I would have another child ASAP so that I could 'get the children off to school' and then focus a bit more on a career (I'm currently a SAHM) However I am not yet married or engaged to my boyfriend and so we won't be having any more children until we are married (I do not like the uncertainty of not being married and having children)
My mum was 33 with me and 35 with my sister and I am the only person in my extended family (apart from my nan) to have children young.0 -
DD - I was 23 - I wouldnt change a thing but looking back, I might have been too young to give up the lifestyle we had (and ruin my body!)
DS - I was 30 - he is almost 17 months old now0
