how old were you when you had your first baby?

I had just turned 28 with DS and I was nearly 30 with DD. I didn't meet OH until I was 25 so couldn't really have done it much sooner. In financial terms, if DS had been a year later we'd have been a bit more set up, but we've managed. Good luck, I hope it all goes according to plan!

24 for no 1 and 27 for number 2. We had been married for 3 years prior to no 1.

I was 24 with my first, 27 with second and 33 with last!

thankfully we are now debt free due to an unexpected inheritance, which has cleared all debts and left a very sizable amount in our savings account. even if i still had debt i would consider having a baby as we can cope on my oh wages with money left to spare even when we were repaying debt.
