You are talking about 'fighting her all the way'.

She names you as the Father and they write to you. You ignore the letter. They write another one. You ignore that. They will then presume parentage and then start proceedings for collection.

She will be asked to provide details of where you work. After you have ignored the letters asking for details of your income they will write to your employer then they will do an assessment.

You then have 2 chances pay and then they put a deductions of earnings on your wages.

As you will be non compliant this could all get done very quickly. the baby won't have a chance to get anyone's features before they start taking money from you.

PWC - Parent With Care (your ex)

NRP - Non Resident Parent (you)

But you're not getting it. You won't be punishing her - you'll be punishing the baby.

If this baby is yours and he grows up and found out that you dismissed him so easily when he was a baby how do you think he is going to feel? Do you think he will care that his Mum cheated? No, he will just care that his Dad decided to vent his anger towards him.

And don't think that he won't find out - these family secrets have a habit of worming their way out.

I do understand your anger and I can totally see where you are coming from with your need to exact revenge. Just don't do it at the expense of a pure and innocent baby who deserves his Dad and big brother in his life.

OP, by refusing to take the DNA test you are simply cutting your nose off to spite your face.

Get the test done or you are asking for a world of trouble.

that is a complete and utter joke!

just because she 'names' me as the father, i get shafted all the way to hell and back!

surely those rules are flawed beyond belief and open to so much abuse!???

let's say, for example, that a girl sleeps with 5 different guys, on five consecutive nights. she then has a baby 9 months later...

she picks one of those five guys' names at random, and insists he is the father. the csa then demand payment from him, and he MUST pay just because he refuses to do a dna test - which is his RIGHT!???

my god, the csa is a bigger joke than i first thought...

another example, let's say a girl has a grudge against a man. let's say that man is married. let's also say that the girl in question has never even broke breath to the man before, nevermind had sex with him.

she names him as the father to the csa, and he refuses to do a dna test, because why the hell should he - he has never slept with this person! his wife then leaves him as a result because she thinks he has borne a kid with this woman.

i mean, !!!!!!!?!?!?

literally, a woman can just pick a guys name at random - any old name, and say he is the father, and the CSA will hunt him down and demand money for him - even if the two people involved have never even met!?!?!? and it's upto the man to prove he isn't by doing a dna test!?!?!?!?

what a complete disaster zone the csa is...

that is exactly what i am doing - in a nutshell!

i can live with the consequences though, because i know they will only be short-term. i just don't see why i should have to pay for something that 'may' not be mine (but i agree that it most likely IS mine), and why I'M the one who needs to PROVE that it's mine, and regardless of whether it is or not, i STILL have to pay, unless i can prove the contrary!?!?

it just doesn't make sense and should be outlawed!

i just don't see the need to refuse a DNA test here. You admit you were sleeping with her at the given time. Therefore you know there is a very good chance that you are the father. Please please please, do not punish this child for the sins of the mother, that is what you are doing by refusing parentage/dna testing.
