Perhaps I have been gloating but then I have never been welcomed in this board and have been, especially recent, accused of all sorts including being other people. Im happy that I will soon be able to talk and read items about the economy and house prices and recessions in an area not controlled by a few people who dominate the discussion and ask people the dont agree with to 'move along'.

Yes, I for one am glad that the monopoly of this board is being broken up and that more people will be allowed to discuss these topics without being made to feel unwelcome.

Its been cathartic to get all this off my chest. I always hated the bulls v bears rubbish that !!!!!! came up with and was desperate for serious debate where EVERYONE was allowed they say. When we are on DT I hope we'll get it.

You have 66 posts in 10 months with 10 of them being today. If you are such a regular and not an AE of someone else why the low post count?

Im just stating that you've made your point, you can see the thread has went down hill so move on. What is the point of pursuing your point further?

I suspect this is your tactics, (a clever move to get what you want) for Martin to get fed up with this thread and let it influence his decision, i.e this board being disruptive, Martin getting fed up of it and moving it down to the bottom of the pile. It's called psychology, and it's probably working.;)

I prefer to call it a debate, rather than an argument. Not everyone is going to agree with 1 another. I never hurtle personal insults, calling people losers etc. Not my style;)

Anyway, im leaving this thread now, no point carrying on. If it's moved to DT, i'll still post and gloat as i always do about Aberdeen house prices, so it really makes no difference to me other than it will take me an extra couple of seconds to scroll down the page:rotfl:

My low post count reflects the fact that I dont feel comfortable posting on here and when I have I have been attacked by the loony set. Your attacking me right now and telling me to 'move on'. who are you to tell me to move on?

Well soon youll all move on to DT and some of you, especially the sockpuppeteers will be swamped with the larger number of contributors and will hopefully leave MSE completely and go back to the HPC weirdo site where they came from. That will allow other people to have discussions without all the abuse.

This has certainly made for interesting reading, with views both for and against why it should/n't be moved.

I'm not a regular here, although I pop in now and again, so the board moving doesn't affect me. Personally, I see nothing wrong with the move as the board isn't being merged with another but can appreciate why others would want it to stay.

Perhaps though, once the change has been made - if that is what's going to happen - then the gist of the board will continue albeit just in a different location. Although hopefully the playground antics will dissipate slightly
