I think OH is suffering from depression too. Got him to admit its a possibility, but says he's not sick so doesn't need a doctor or pills

Sorry to hear this newlywed, how are you feeling this evening? i do think it's worth having a chat with your doctor. But you should also explain how you feel to your OH and explain to him that you are not the hired help! Depression is hard enough to deal with without having to run round after everyone else into the bargain. What you need is support hun.

    Love,

    Evening lovelies

Bit quiet here - hope everyone's as well as can be.

Haven't done much today, me and Gilly had a mooch around town earlier, then I did some pottering in the garden. Just having a look at what's not on TV tonight.

    Have a good evening

    Much love,

    :hello: Everyone,

I had a lovely lunch out at the restaurant.I ate:

Garlic Mushrooms with Parmison cheese mm

    Carrot and Corrinder Soup

Roast Beef dinner with Roast Potatoes and veg.

pudding Peach and Apple crumble and custard

    drink was cola

Coffee and mints in lounge after.

It was so nice and on departure Dad got a free gift of a pen of the hotel and a Yorkie Bar as it was Fathers day as all Dads who dined there today got a present.

I had a sleep for a while then the phone rang and it was my brother from Burmuda.Hes not married yet but rang before the ceremony.I wished him well and I am going to chat again about 10pm after hes married as the wedding is 9pm our time and 5pm in Burmuda on the beach.

The wedding is being filmed so we can see it and what it was like so cant wait to see it.So later tonight I have a new sister in law.I will be on here briefly when I get home then I want an early night this evening. The Gemini Cd towers are still available on Boffer for 1p with £2.99 delivery.

    love and light,

    No, not like that!:rotfl:

As we have some Gemini birthdays, I thought I'd explore the Tiff archives. Look what I found...
    Famous Geminis:

Prince William (21st June!!!), Hugh Laurie, Johnny Depp, Rudy Giuliani, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Helena Bonham Carter, Allen Ginsburg, William Butler Yeats, Miles Davis, Norman Vincent Peale, Frank Lloyd Wright, Anne Frank, Thomas Hardy, Queen Victoria, Michael J. Fox, Bill Moyers, Alanis Morissette, Clint Eastwood, Marilyn Monroe, John F. Kennedy, Bob Dylan, Bob Hope, Richard Wagner, Arthur Conan Doyle and Naomi Campbell.
    Gemini
Gemini can never decide: hip-hop or foxtrot? Waltz or modern dance? Toe shoes or tap? More often than not, the Twins decides to go both ways, which can be a little confusing for their dance partner. Luckily, Gemini is so attractive that most of the folks on their dance card will do their best to follow along, no matter what comes next.

    Gemini

The Gemini pet owner -- a quintessential cat person -- is surrounded by everything feline. All breeds, from ultra-exotic Abyssinians or Savannahs to the tomcat from the local pound, appeal to you. One minute they're totally independent, and in the next breath, they're curled up in your lap for lots of love -- that's the kitty caprice.

Well that last part clinched it for me - it's got to be true!biggrin.gif
Wishing you all a lovely Sunday. Be kind to yourself, guys.sLo_hug2.gif

    Hi cozza! hello.gif
    How are things, hun?
Sorry it's taken me so long to say hello properly. I hope your appointment with CAB went well Friday, hun.
You are having a hard time with your benefits situation from the sound of it and they are the experts. It's good that your gp is being very supportive and I'm glad you persevered and got that appointment with CAB. They are absolute stars and very much in demand. I know it can be a long wait but it's worth it.
Best tip for future visits to their offices, is to get there about 15-30 minutes before they even open.happy0062.gif That way, you're hopefully near the front of the line. Oh - and be sure to always take every piece of paper/letter/form you own with you too!wink.gif The one you leave at home will be the one you want!happy0062.gif

Safe journeys hun and be kind to yourself. sLo_hug2.gif

    Hi atoms!hello.gif
It's good to see you again angel.

Hope everyone is doing as well as possible. I'm quite up and down at the moment as I am having the year from hell (losing my love/best friend , disappoinments , illnesses , too many hospital appointments and a recent death) and every day seems to bring a new challenge. I'm lurching from anger to sadness to mild despair. I am waiting for some hospital treatment and having daily nightmares , but trying to remain positive and think about the good things I will be doing next year hopefully.
Not sure why I am writing this down in public but I felt a need to empty my head a bit!
I'm sorry to hear what a rough time you're going through hun.sLo_hug2.gif Any of those things is stressful enough on their own, let alone together. I must admit that 2009 has affected the ol' Tiffster a bit too. Yes hun, you're a survivor and it's good to hear that you're fighting back.action-smiley-033.gif I know it's not easy to do and there are days when we really can't find the strength to raise yet another smile. Just so long as we remember that more smiles will come and that, as with all things, the balance will shift again.wink.gif

Tiffy's been accused of having an empty head more than once, angel. As you'll know from my posts, I not only empty my head on here but I also throw in the wardrobe and kitchen sink for good measure!laughing-smiley-014.gif So you go ahead and empty whatever you want hunnie.wink.gif
It's good that you posted, atoms. I know this thread creates a 'virtual' meeting place and friendship for us all, but nonetheless the support, the friendliness, the laughs and the friendships are all real. It's good to know that at least someone somewhere is thinking of you when you're struggling. Although this place being 'virtual' as it were, by definition, it is actually very, very real to the people who post here and it does make a difference to our everyday lives sometimes and also in times of crisis and I'm glad it's here.

Keep us posted about your hospital appointments and treatments, angel - I hope it's nothing serious. Keeping you in my thoughts.
    Be kind to yourself.sLo_hug2.gif
