Big hugs shaz. Gilly doesn't like the heat either and he's finding it difficult to sleep. Grrr I feel like throttling that psychiatrist on your behalf lol xx But perhaps he or she was stating things more baldly than might turn out to be the case, to try and ensure that Daniel receives all the care and support services he needs, that might prevent that outcome from becoming reality? I don't know, that's just my thoughts hun xx

Not much to report my end. Still dreaming of quitting the rat race... but hopefully we are moving a step near to that happening, if only gradually. It will happen. I need to keep hope alive!:) In the meantime we have a week off soon - hurrah! :j We are taking my folks to the south coast, looking forward to it, should be fun.

I know, I know - it's holidays, work, wimbledon and heat exhaustion. Or in sazzy's case, wimbledon, wine and work - and probably in that order too!
I hope everyone is as well as they can be.

HATING THIS WEATHER!!!

Sorry guys - just wanted to share. Actually there were some nice fat, grey clouds overhead here at Tiff Towers, which finally delivered some rain yesterday.

Yes, the Tiffster is back. I shall not apologise for the overuse of smileys or cat piccies that will occur in my next few posts: not only have I earned them but I've also got an EEC quota to use up.

It's been a helluva week and a half for Tiffy. In my last post on Wednesday 24th, I posted that I had a few things on. The first of those was a minor day surgical gynaecological procedure. (So technically to start with, I had a few things off and yes, that was the exact expression I had on my face!)
They set a cruel trap for me - all I did was follow their trail of drops of double cream which led to my CPN's car and then he took me to the hospital.
Yep, they finally got me - I've had an encounter of the painful kind with the vet. They've been after my bits!

I was told I'd be in at 9.00 and out off home by 9.45-ish, as I was first one up. LIARS!!! It was lunchtime before I got home and I was a poorly Tiffy. As I'd been bound and gagged, I wasn't able to express an opinion when my lovely gynae consultant, (and he is a sweetie), decided that he thought he could do it without using an anaesthetic, and so he did. I also got bombarded with hormones. Not a nice procedure in my case. Hopefully though, if this works - it takes about 3 months to tell usually, so that'll be 6 months for me! - then they won't have to spay the Tiffster... I am not having a hystericalectomy!
The funny thing was when my consultant said to me as I was leaving, that I'd be all right to have relations immediately! Among other things, I thought, 'yes - and you mate!'
Thank God my CPN brought me home and stayed with me for 25 mins because I suddenly went into shock and I became hypoglycemic too. My heartbeat was going crazy and my pulse was going faster than Lynford Chrisite and his lunchbox! CPN made me drink a large glass of oj and my heart started to slow down thankfully and I came round. I'm having to take things easy but all is going pretty well atm.

I guess I'd better get on and do some reading back and hopefully try and post later on. I have actually missed you folks muchly.

Having been seeking help for depression through my GP for approx three years now. Long hard road but finally seem to be getting somewhere!

hi tiff, lovely to see you back, hope the procedure works and you dont have to go back in. you was very brave, i'm terrified of even going fot the dreaded smear test, which they keep reminding me is overdue.

Gorgeous day, me and Gilly had dinner in the garden - it was a lovely evening:) We are spending our week off on the south coast, talking my folks with us, and I can't wait! That is a message from Lulu, my foster kitty. Some heartless ****** abandoned her yesterday at the cat colony I help look after. She's only 3 or 4 weeks old.

I must have been AWOL for ages ... well, things are settling down now. I am hoping to rent the flat I share, have been undergoing lots of tests to discover the cause of my anaemia. Hugs to everyone who needs them. Has my cyberkid been around lately? Shaz - again I think you are an amazing mum. Miro - anyone who loves cats as much as you do is a good person. You know what? I don't give a damn what people think of me, if they don't like me that is their problem. I'm finally happy with myself. Now I'm going to indulge in a cliche - believe in yourself. I don't claim that my life is perfect, but in the last couple of years I have achieved things I never thought possible. I did it because I took a chance. It's not easy, in fact it's been damned hard, but I'm proud of what I've achieved.

evening all, good to see amber, and lady m posting again, not seen you two for ages.
i'm good, thanks for asking sazzy, me and ian are becoming closer and closer as each day passes, we have even gotten to the stage of talking about living together, never thought i would want to live with another man ever, but ian has changed all that, he is such a kind caring considerate person,:A and i love him to bits.
have spent the whole weekend with him, yesterday we went to see my parents, and today, we have been to bridlington with the children, and it was lovely. only 2 weeks to go til we all go to blackpool together and i cant wait.
