Sorry your holiday was tough, Shaz. Not easy holidaying with kids of any age. Try and put your feet up if you can on Monday and take a deep breathe and relax.0

Hi guys!
How's everyone today?
And welcome back newly, hunnie! It's been a long time since we've had the pleasure of your company hun - it's good to see you, though I'm sorry you're having a rough time atm.
Well DS, also known as ''He Who Does Not Clean Or Cook When Visiting'' and ''Lord Of The Pizza Boxes'',, was dispatched to return to London about two hours ago after spending a week at home. I'm k-nackered!
However, I did have some minxy Tiffy fun with him, including letting him arrange his own journey home here, shouting ''Spider!'' at inopportune moments and laughing as he jumped and ran out shouting, generally trying to have very embarrassing chats with him and repeating questions to him over and over.
It's amazing what you can get away with when you have mental ill health to blame!
I don't know how far gone he thinks I am, but there are days when I am that far gone and they seem to be increasing.
The best embarrassing chat was only yesterday when I was researching student seasonal/summer jobs in London with him. He'd said he thought he wanted a job away from Performing Arts, to give him a rest from it after all the heavy studying and performing he does. So I was trawling away on tinternet for jobs near his uni and told him about a job vacancy for sperm donors and the ad said that it was an ideal for students and you could choose your own flexible hours! He stopped speaking to me.There were even two companies looking for students to undergo medical testing!
Don't they know that students - and people who love w-a-g-g-y t-h-i-n-g-s - are an entirely different species?
But of course, there was a price to pay for all this fun.
Now DS is a clever and very creative person, but he has the attention span of a sock. On the day he came home, the curtain pole in the sitting room suddenly fell down. Not a happy Tiffster. When he arrived I said we'd have to take down the rail in the dining room, (which was identical), and put it up in the sitting room. Both poles finally got taken down on Purrsday and he finally tried to put it up last night. However DS, whilst suffering from an aberration in his father's gene pool, had put all the pole pieces and fittings together so they were all confused and had thrown away the screws! And of course we're now having the hottest weather since the creation of the planet and my large windows are bare - although I'm not because the neighbours would complain!
So that's him - and my only £20 note! - gone back for the final part of the term and the end of his first year. I know I'll see him again but I think the £20 note is history.
I feel the distinct need for a catnap but I'll try and get back later folks. Especially lined up in my sights in coming posts will be sazzy, gem, miro, beth, shaz, jo, ccstar, katie tulip and donkey, I hope. Meanwhile, huge hugs to everyone.
Be kind to yourself guys.
Much Love,

Hi guys!
There you go - that's better...
And don't forget the sunscreen, guys - especially if you are on certain meds!
Much love,

Heya
Long time no speak on my behalf. Been trying to keep myself busy - and its working so far!
Had a pretty rough time lately, so mind is on lots of other things.
Waiting to move into a new house at the end of june.
Re-started the odd bit of gardening - throw-back to childhood - but its keeping me busy and happy (although sometimes sad from memories)
My counsellor leaves at the end of this month - so got to change to someone new - not really looking forward to that, because my current one is the only one i've ever been able to open up to.
Just made some gorgeously gooey triple chocolate and marshmallow brownies for our staff meeting tomorrow night. Except now they're staring at me :rotfl:
Not in a very chatty mood - sorry
hope everyone is ok
