  • I feel a lot better for the walk even with the disappointment, treated myself to some chips on the way home too :o

Might even go do some housework ;) off today but will be back in tomorrow.
  • I'm a bit annoyed at my boyfriend though, I text to tell him what happened and that I was going home after he knew I had to really syke myself up to go. He just replied "Odd, anyway....(talking about something else here)", so I asked what was odd... apparently I'm odd because an empty pool is better.

I said it would have been nice to have a bit more support than just being called odd and I only just got my reply saying "Oh stop. That's EXACTLY the response I'd get off you."

I know I was maybe being sensitive but I was disappointed in myself for not going in, I don't think he realises how much I feel I can't speak to him because of this sort of thing. It certainly isn't the response he'd get off me.

  • Tricky situation with partners - I dont have one. I was engaged but i couldnt cope with it any longer i had to leave, i wasnt getting the support i needed he really didnt love me at all. Not saying thats the same with you mind. Maybe sit him down and say you are struggling and could do with a little support ? May not help but it may make you feel better to speak to someone.

I have sat all morning trying to persuade myself to go find the local pool and go swimming, I haven't been in a pool for 3 years and don't even know if I'll know how anymore (wasn't that good to begin with either) but it'll get me out and I bought a new swimsuit months ago for the occasion (then never did it). The more I sit here the more I persuade myself not to. I keep thinking people will look at me and I'll do things all wrong and they'll be thinking I'm odd or something. So, right now, I am getting myself out of bed and at least going for a walk with my stuff to find it.
I started swimming again last year, and hadn't gone for 8 years before that and I managed ok, couldn't do many lengths to start with but managed to build it up over the weeks.

I find that if I go around 3pm there's usually quite a few parents there with their children, they don't look at you because they're busy with the kids so that might be a good time to go :)
  • Hiya all - Hope we are all bearing up.
I am really struggling at the moment, getting mixed messages from every medical person i speak to, sleepy and tired all the time - aching all over and stress headaches etc.

Hi all, hope all is well, on its way up and getting thier for you all.
Feeling, well more than a bit fed up with it all at the moment.
Lost my temper and spoke up for myself about what happened with christmas and what i been through the last year with 2 people to no avail yesteday.
I just got the same as before with them.
Unfortunatly they either dont seem to see what going on, what they are doing (to me mainly) nor accept responcibility for thier actions or appoligise.
Only time and perserverance on my part will tell i spose.

:hello: Every one. Sorry to hear some of you are having such a bad time of it but glad to hear some of you are getting out walking and swimming. It will really help. I am still walking regularly but not daily like before and before Christmas I started swimming in the outdoor pool which I love.
    Thinking of you all! x
Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
    And we were young.
