Had a rough couple of days

    Stuff happened

It really put a downer on things, I've hidden away again, especially now my friend has gone to the hospital to make sure she is alright. Its just made me realise how reliant i am on her, it makes me feel bad for her.

I've started doing uni work, which is a plus as i have alot to get done, gonna try and get up to campus tomorrow, go for a walk and check my post and stuff. Was thinking about taking a book with me and sitting in the sun in the gardens.

    {{{hugs}}} Greenpixie.

Pants couple of days here too - feeling 'can't be @sred' most of the weekend - little bits of this and that took my attention, then got bored. Had to go shopping of the family wouldn't have eaten - took 20 mins to make up my mind about which potatoes to buy. I only went in for potatoes and salad stuff - took an hour! Today I've been having to read and re read my emails before I send them, just to make sure they make sense. I hate feeling like this :( Drs appointment tomorrow though.
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

    *hugs for everyone*

I think i'm another one struggling right now..

Can i ask if anyone here is involved in Day Services? I only ask cos my psychiatrist is refering me to them but i don't know what they do or what to expect. In one way i feel better for getting more support, but the fact i need more support, and the fact my psychiatrist agrees, i'm getting worse isn't so good. sorry to hijack.

Hi MessedUp, when you say day services do you mean attending groups? If so, I attended ATS (acute therapy services) for about a month. I used to go to a group in the morning and one in the afternooon. I found the groups very beneficial.

    Hi guys

Felt better lately but had a stinker of an off day, despite things being on the up.

Just want a good election result on Thursday/Friday as well.

    Hi Everyone.

How are we all on this miserable day? Hugs to those of you having difficult times right now.

Miroslav - hope you are ok after the anniversary. My 2 haven't budged all day so they will shortly be persuaded/shuffed out through cat flap.

Lady Morticia I understand what you mean about having a loving partner, but you feeling guilty about being sad etc. My mood swings aren't great right now and my OH tends to get the fallout.

Shaz if you are reading, good on ya girl!

I have had a good 2 days but tired. Had my niece and nephew most of yesterday and it was her party today. I've said before but when I am with them I seem to be able to forget about every trouble in my life. I wish I could have more days like this but the realities of life will soon bring me down again.

OH cooking dinner so guess I should help......or may be not too many cooks and all that :D.

    xx

I know what you mean about your partner getting the fallout but I worked out that it is like getting a good customer service rep who lets you vent without getting upset or defensive, then you are able to get on with the reason for the call or visit.

If you get a bad one who takes things personally, it tends to escalate. My OH tends to take this approach:(

A partner of a depressed person needs to be mature enough not to take it personally. Anyone who has a partner who is that strong is a very lucky person!
