    ED = eating disorder.

    I have no choice but to stay with them. I didn't (and still don't) have the money to pay £100 where I'm staying now, (tied into contract) plus another £100-odd for another place and eat.

    I mean it chnages daily. I have days (like yesterday) where I went out for a few hours, came home and was shattered. A few weeks ago, I could've gone out and came home withut feeling tired.

    They probably belittle me for it because they believe I'm lying. They can't see it, therefore, it can't possibly exist. They also think they had some sort of divine right to know right from when I moved in, what my disabilities are.

    Can you find somewhere else to live or tell them to leave you alone? It sounds like you are being ganged up on which isn't nice if you don't feel ill.

    As I say, you are paying your equal share and you do not have to put up with being bullied in your home. I would tell them to mind their own business and leave you alone to look after yourself.

    They DON'T have a divine right to know your health issues. They don't seem to want to understand it and it looks like they are wanting to bully you about it. They are acting like ignorant, immature playground bullies.

    So what if you tire easily some days and not others? Who appointed them as God? It seems like you have got into a loop of needing their approval to validate your illness.

    If you are tied into your contract, they can't chuck you out for standing up to them.

    Can I ask what your disability is?

    I have nerve damage in both eyes. As a result, I'm partially sighted.

    Only hear for another month and then I'm out of here for good and won't have to see them again.

    Thank God for that. You don't need to be around idiots who bully you for being partially sighted.

    Hi

    Just read the thread and thought I would join in if thats ok. I am currently suffering from post natal depression after having my wee boy 5 months ago. Iv been to hell and back the past few months and although I am having alot more good days now, the bad days are still bad!

    Im not in contact with any of my family and my OH can be very dismissive when it comes to depression.....give yourself a shake idea! Sometimes I do feel very lonely and wish someone would give me a big hug and tell me its gna be ok....but hey ho!

    Lovely approach your OH has.:mad:

    Try and get away for a week for him to have your boy without any support and see how he feels. Also, if he moans about anything - tell him to give himself a shake.

    Bl oody judgmental men:mad::mad:

    The anniversary was more a celebration than a depression couple of days. It's how I wanted it - a celebration of the great character she was.

    Poor cats being told to go out :rotfl:Mine are indoor cats, so they get to be waited on.

    Just incase i'm not around, best wishes for the big day on Tuesday to Sazbo and Gilly.

    May the 4th be with you :o;)

    Good to see you are putting a positive on the anniversary.

    They will run rings round you if you aren't careful:D

    Hello, I felt the need to post here as I have been feeling very low for quite some time now. Probably close to a year, I spoke to my Oh about going to see my GP and possibly going on anti-depressants and he is very anti this. I was also negative about it as I am not keen on taking medication unduly but I have been feeling so bad lately that I have been thinking it may be the best path to take. My confidence has plummeted. I don't like to answer the phone and I will let it go through to the answering machine, I'm not that keen on seeing people generally so social contact is kept to a minimum.

    I used to be quite confident and friendly type, chat with anyone have a laugh but I feel like a totally different person nowadays. The only person I've talked about it with (apart from OH) is my best friend who suffered from it a few years ago and he thinks I should be getting help. I just feel so overwhelmed, unhappy and quite ashamed of myself that I feel this way.

    It is all part of feeling low and if you can get to see someone, then it would help.

    Can your recall what might have triggered this.?

    Thanks everyone for your kind words

    Haven't gone out today, just felt a bit down and i know that locking myself in my room is the wrong thing to do but i can't help it.

    Didn't help when i went into the kitchen and the two people that i dislike the most in the house were in there with others. I just feel like they look down at me, i tried to make conversation but they just ignored me. I just wish that people wouldn't be so stuck up, they don't like me and thats fine because i don't like them but we have to live together so they could at least try to be friendly. This is why i don't really cook very often, because i don't want to go in the kitchen.

    Decided that I'm going to go to town tomorrow and have a little wonder round the shops and maybe treat myself to something, I do need to get some food anyway. Its just nice to get out of the house and have a little walk around.
    I would ignore them back and if you can afford a microwave and a little fridge/freezer in your room, then you wouldn't need to see them so often.
