  • Sandy, I'm really sorry to hear about the hospital appointment. When will they make a decision? If they don't do brain surgery what are the other options?

Have a (((HUG))) keep posting, we're all here for you.

  • Good afternoon all, I hope everyone is doing ok today

Thought I would come on here and be a bit more positive for a change. I think the medication is starting to help, I have days where I feel almost normal again which is nice! Have been out and about a couple of times, I realised that whilst going out seemed scary and hard at times it did me good to get out the house, even if it was just for 30 minutes down the shop. Bought a dining table a few days ago which is now taking pride of place in my dining room which I'm thrilled about. Complete bargain too £208 for a solid wood table and 6 chairs. I keep admiring it when I'm in the kitchen :o it's something we've both wanted since we bought the house almost 3 years ago and we've finally had the money to buy it which is nice.

Think I'm going to go back to work Monday as well. I'm not sleeping still, infact I don't think I've slept the last 2 night at all  so I'm still really tired but feeling alot better in myself and more positive about things. I think work will be a bit of a struggle to begin with, I just wish I could sleep, things always seem alot harder when you're exhausted.

Made my parents a walnut cake for their wedding anniversary and baked some chocolate cakes for us, it's been ages since I've done any cooking and I forgot how satisfying it is seeing all those lovely cakes when they're done knowing that I'm the one that made them :D Have also made dinner a few nights, done washing, tidied up etc which is a huge difference compare to the last few weeks where some days getting out of bed or getting dressed was a huge effort. I know there'll still be days when I feel like that, and I'm not through it yet, but I'm feeling alot more positive.

Sandy I'm sorry your having such a hard time of it all at the moment, I had a pretty awful month last month so I can relate to what your going through, I think we all can. Just know that things will get easier and until they do there's always people on here you can talk to to get you through it.

    evening all,
katie, lucky you winning a gift card, sounds like you've had a lovely day too
losing patience, good to hear you sounding so positive too.

my moods seem to be so up and down, my mum commented on how i was perking up earlier in the week, and today i'm so down, hasnt helped that i havent slept much, as my friend has been poorly, and i've been worried about her, took her to a and e this morning, because her foot was so swollen and an awful blue/purple colour, turns out she has an infection as well as gout, poor thing cant walk because of it
the real main course of my feeling down tonight tho, is that stupid stupid man, ian.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:tonight he been texting me, asking if we could still meet up, i said no, and then he starts sending messages, about how good company i am, how sexy etc etc, latest one, was can we still have sex together:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:, i'm furious, that he thinks so little of me

    hugs all

  • Shaz, I hope this shows you that Ian is only after one thing and definitely isn't worth it. I bet he hasn't even asked how the boys are. If I were you I'd just delete all his messages and not even bother reading them. You're worth so much more than what he has to offer. Stay strong hun xxx

    :hello: Everyone,

I went to see my parents today and then I came home and had a sleep.I feel better for that :) My boyfriend is coming tomorrow to spend a day with me.Shaz I am so sorry about Ian,delete his number from your phone,I just realised although you can delete his number from your phone he could still text you as he has your mobile number sorry to worry you.Best thing ring your mobile phone company in the morning or tonight if customer service is 24/7 and get his number barred to stop him trying to get to you.

    love and light,

Shaz, thats terrible! How can he even think you would agree to that!!!! Im angry on your behalf. I would definitely look into getting his number barred from coming through to your phone or see if you could change your number. He is absolutely stupid! (replace "stupid" with something more appropriate!)

Losingpatience, I know what you mean about making cakes. I love making cakes - that lovely smell from the oven too!

evening all, thanks all for your support, and advice, i have deleted all messages except the last one, then if i ever start to miss him, i'll have a reminder why he disgusts me so much, i'll prob delete it in time.

  • Shaz - I know I don't know you that well but from reading through your last few posts your definitely well rid of him. Someone who can be so disrespectful is not worthy of your time and love, you'll meet someone who is in time, someone who cares for you and treats you the way you deserve to be treat and then you'll wonder why you were ever with such a muppet! ( I know, I speak from experience! )

Tulip - Glad to see your doing well and have had a nice day

beachbeth - I was going to make some more today to take into work tomorrow but my parents turned up and ended up staying for most of the afternoon. Ended up cooking dinner for me, bf and my dad as well while they were here. My mam's not well so didn't want anything and as my dad's useless in the kitchen it means because I cooked him dinner my mam could just relax when she went home and didn't have to cook for him. So felt good that I'd helped her out in a way, was making her cups of tea and had her tucked up on the sofa with a throw over her so she could have a snooze as well.

Feeling ok today as well, still slept crap again so tired but been in a good mood all day. Feeling a bit nervous about going back to work tomorrow after being off for 2 weeks, I've found that when I'm talking to BF or family I'm fine, but anyone else I start getting a bit anxious and can hear it in my voice if that makes sense? Rang work a couple of times while I've been off and I can feel myself getting anxious. Not sure why I get that way either, I've been working there for almost 7 years so know everyone well enough and get on great with them all, it's almost like an extended family at times lol
