    Hi everyone :hello:

Been quiet on here.. hope eveyone's ok. I've had a really frazzled week, and so not much time to post, but I have been reading along xx

Shaz - you've been on my mind today - is everything alright?

Plushroom - that was a lovely post and good to hear that things seem to be turning the corner for you xx You are always welcome here, so please feel free to post, even if it's just to say hi :)

Ruby - re other thread - tbh, I've lost count of how many 'mental-illness-let's-have-argument-about-it' threads there have been on MSE lol. I think some people get off on being 'controversial' and irking other people, just for the fun of it. What's that all about? It feels a bit like being back in the playground. Even apart from the tedium of re-hashing the same arguments over and over like a stuck record, it makes me wonder how people have the time to spend arguing into cyberspace about the same old things! Some folks have mental health issues, just get over it, y'know?

Anyway. Hope everyone's having a good weekend. I'm off to make some dinner, yes, I know it's a bit late! :rotfl:

    Much love to all,

Gosh yes it is late. I'm determined to get off the computer soon. I've been sucked into the vortex the past couple of days. I have to say I've been really shocked by the negative perceptions I've encountered on the latest thread. I've never come across anything like it! Some really nasty mean spirited people!!Oh well sad !!!!!!!s! x

morning all, not posted for a few days, as me and the kids went to blackpool for a few days, for half term, got back on friday.
stayed in a lovely hotel, and kids behaved really well.
since getting home i've got a bad cold, ear ache etc.
feel a bit lost now i'm back home if that makes sense?
in the hotel, we talked to lots of other people, and it was great, at home i'm feeling all alone, and back to thinking about ian, didnt miss him at all while i was away.
hi sazzy, sorry to hear you've had such a frazzled week at work, and hoping your making the most of the weekend. we've got thick snow up here today.

Benefit threads must beat all records for something in which people argue the same thing over and over again :D

Sometimes discussions can be really interesting, but I don't like it when they turn nasty :(

As you say, sometimes it's like being back in the playground.

It's funny Shaz because I when woke up early this morning to get a glass of water and when I looked out there was about an inch of snow on the ground, but then when I got up later it had all gone! It kinda made me doubt my sanity... which is to say doubt more than I already do:o :rotfl:

Glad you had a nice time on Blackpool, hun. I know what you mean that it gives you another focus, to take your mind off things. But it will get easier re Ian, given time. Big hugs and hope you shift that cold soon xx

Hi Gem :hello: nice to see you, and Pipkin I was thinking of you today also - how are things with you? Pipkin honestly, sometimes I look at some of those threads and think, "Is this the same one, or a different one?" Lol but maybe it's just I've been hanging around MSE for far too long?! It all comes round again if you hang around for too long:D

Yes Gem, the dreaded W word tomorrow :( I'm trying not to think about it... I wish the weekends didn't go so quick... It's so nice at the weekend just being able to mooch about and de-stress. We went out today for a drink by the river and it was just so nice.

Have a lovely evening everyone

    Much love,
