On Tuesday I had a seizure at the top of the stairs, not the best place to have one:o
I woke up in an ambulance which I hate anyway:mad: I was kept in overnight due to the lump on my head the size of everest.
I have a broken wrist, banging headache and some spectaculr bruises.:(

I'm trying to carry on and be all cheerful but I am so upset about it, I just want to be normal again and go out alone:(

Oh heck, I'm not surprised you're finding it hard to be cheerful right now.

    Sending some sympathy your way.

Sandy - I do hope you're ok. My dad had a fit at the top of the stairs and he said it hurt a lot. Thankfully, he didn't break any bones.

I suppose I'm lucky it wasn't more serious, bloody hurts though and has left me scared of doing anything on my own. :(
Our vacuum cleaner is at the bottom of the stairs which wasn't my most sensible decision:o

    Hello everyone.
Had an ermm eventful couuple of days! On Tuesday I had a seizure at the top of the stairs, not the best place to have one:o

    Aww Sandy.

Really sorry to hear this :(

Have they spoken to you about altering your medication so you can get the seizures under control?

How are you managing with your wrist in plaster?

I can understand why you would be upset.(((HUGS)))

    How's your headache now?

    Thanks pipkin

My medication has been increased again but it makes me feel rubbish, I also have emergency meds for if I get cluster seizures but that knocks me out and makes me feel worse than the seizures:(

I never realised how difficult it would be having a cast on, I feel more useless than normal.

My headache is getting better but the bruising is coming out now and it looks awful.

I feel more down today than yesterday, probably because the effects of the seizure are wearing off. I hate my life. :(

I hope you are feeling better now, sorry for the big moan no one else seems to care.
