Thanks pipkin
My medication has been increased again but it makes me feel rubbish, I also have emergency meds for if I get cluster seizures but that knocks me out and makes me feel worse than the seizures:(
I never realised how difficult it would be having a cast on, I feel more useless than normal.
My headache is getting better but the bruising is coming out now and it looks awful.
I feel more down today than yesterday, probably because the effects of the seizure are wearing off. I hate my life.
I hope you are feeling better now, sorry for the big moan no one else seems to care.
Aww hunny.
They've just increased my meds too, and it makes me feel awful, so you have my sympathy.
Think of it that in the long term it will help, even if you feel rubbish to begin with. I was slutting my words last night and felt really spaced out. Not so bad today though. I have to increase again next week, so who knows what that will bring, but I'm focusing on long term.
My mum broke her wrist just over a year ago and she found it really hard, so again, I know what you're feelingJust try and pace yourself. Accept help where you can.
Also, if you're feeling rubbish, come and chat on here - that's what the board is for.

Sorry to hear that things are going on with you. Hopefully, your parents will come to realise that although there are side effects to your medication, they may be just the thing you need right now. There is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. If you get any medicines out of your medicine cabinet and read the possible side effects I think you will be amazed that any of us take any medication at all! The thing is, they have to list all possible side effects even if there is barely any chance you will get them.
Hope this helps.I like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)0 -

I have the same problem. What made it worse 3 years ago, was that I having problems with a friend of mine. I really didn't want to turn around and say "it's all your fault". (he believed it was and admitted this to me) Whilst it wasn't his fault; his reactions didn't help.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I hope you meant slurring:eek:
These do the same thing, they make me look and feel drunk. I slur my words as well and my thought process is terrible. I can't think of the words I want and I can't spell anymore.
And they are meant to make me feel better!!
Hope you feel better with yours soon and the increase isn't too bad.
The problem is I'm not good at asking for help, I don't have many friends here and have just got used to soldiering on with my I'm fine face:(
People are so kind and friendly both here and in OS. I'm avoiding everywhere else now.
So to pipkin and all the others who have been so kind- Thank you. xSealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -
Hi
Just a quick email, I have also not been feeling great for a while, had some difficult family issues going on, particularly serious a year ago, and a busy stressful job, and the past few weeks I just felt v down, tearful, stomach upset, couldnt eat and so had to go to the doctor, who has now prescribed medication, the first of which i took today, and just hope it does work, I dont feel particularly pleased to be taking it but then I wasnt feeling great.
Feel really guilty though that I feel like this, I shouldnt, but think its just circumstances building up and making me feel like i did.
Its comforting to find others in similar positions, I dont know where else I can talk to anyone.0 -

Majority of time, I try to keep my 'everything is ok' face on. I'm lucky that I have some great friends and family thoughThere is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0 -
