Oh no, not another sick kitty - hope he/she is OK.
I agree about dentists, they either can't be bothered or try to rip you off.
Vets this afternoon. I'm not hopeful after the recent past with my cats healthTo lose 3 in 8 months would be unbearable.
I've had bad dentists. I had some work done in 2002 that apparently was done wrong, hence the uncomfortableness and swelling. I've had dentists tell me to use a fork or knife to stop the swelling, question my allergy to penicillin as something my mother 'probably just made up', refuse to give me antibiotics because the swelling will go away, walk in with an apple, finish his apple, point at various parts of my mouth, grunt and ask 'what's this?' before sending me on my way with no treatment, advice or respect, instead of filling a tooth, despite giving me injections to numb that area specifically so he could do the filling, then decide he didn't have enough time, so turned it into a chip instead without telling me. I've now lost that tooth as it was too fragile.
You can't even get treatment when on Income Support anymore, jsut the very basic. If you are in pain - tough!

Vet couldn't find anything majorly wrong. Possibly a bad tooth which needs keeping an eye on. She has had some antibiotics and needs some observation over the weekend.
Hopefully it will be alright0 -

Maybe shes sad after losing her friends (did they live together?) or could be the change in seasons- know when we had two cats at home we never really seemed to pay much attention to what they ate, jsut how they were together. To cut a long story short we had to separate them and they lived separatly. It was in spring when we did this, and noticed at Christmas they both reduced their food. Not sure why, they did it every year. Could be that they stop moving around as much so just don't eat as much to fuel that.
But I'd keep an eye on the tooth anyway;) hope it turns out ok.0 -
