Did you boss say anything encouraging?

come to think of it, not particularly. i've worked flat out all year, even went in at the weekend when there was a tight target but that didn't even get a mention, only when i reminded him at the end!

i'm just waiting to see how the rest of the team get on, i think it's the boss with the problem not me. i think they are trying to come up with reasons this year not to give payrises so they are marking everyone down - at least i hope that's the reason!

how is everyone today? hugs all round i hope today is a good day! xxx

morning all, still got the worst cold ever. today is a busy day, see cpn at 9.30, then got a lady from youth offending team coming at 12 to do a report on daniel's home life, knit and natter group this afternoon if i have time to pop in for an hour. taking josh uptown after school, i need a hair cut, and he has opticians appointment. then tonight me and ian are going out for a meal and to the cinema, to see jennifers body.
after all that i'll prop spend tommorrow in bed recovering, as having loads to do in one day will leave me exhausted.
hope everyone is ok, and has a good day
    hugs

Typical, they always look for fault but rarely praise. Then people wonder why morale is low at work, apart from low pay. It sounds like a feasible reason why they are doing this but it doesn't work in the long term when people leave them.

When I review people, I do my best to be fair and am honest if money is tight.

Afternoon everyone, hope you are all well today, sending *hugs* to anyone who needs.

Had a really rough night sleep last night because of the high winds we've had. Got a telephone interview tomorrow for a job through a brilliant agency I've worked with before, just a little bit apprehensive about the job because of the company it's for but for the salary offered I can't complain, and it's for three weeks guaranteed which will give me a nice bit of money on the run up to Christmas.

I've been looking at the hampers on the special occasions board and considering making a few of those up for family. Certainly beats the unimaginatively wrapped presents I usually buy. I'm looking at ideas to keep my mind active, either making hampers, doing some cross stitch etc.

DH has been an absolute saint about things.

morning all, hope everyone is ok. cpn has increased my dose of meds again yesterday, which i'm not too happy about, but then again dont feel happy at all, for no particular reason, just time of year, dark and cold, adn xmas coming up.
didnt sleep well last night, so cant wait for my bed again tonight.

bunnie, good luck with the job interview.

    hugs all

yeap, my colleague had his yesterday and was marked down, he's livid. i'd rather be graded fairly then told there was nothing in the pot for payrises, at least it doesn't dent the self esteem for no reason! it'll definitely create low morale this year! muppets!

shazrobo i hope you're going to have a quieter day after all that rushing round yesterday, sounds like you need a rest a bit of 'shaz' time ((hugs))

bunnie good luck with the interview - let us know how you get on!

((hugs)) to anyone else out there who needs it. the grotty weather doesn't help does it. it was so windy in the night! i was hoping for a really good sleep last night but i woke early then couldn't get back to sleep.

Just wondered, is there such a thing as a sleeping pill which does not leave you feeling as if you have a sheet over your head the next day?! Am taking something (probably not allowed to say on here) but means I get a good nights sleep- however, the next day is sloooow and difficult. If I don't take the pills, sleeplessness is somehow worse...I can't win!

Spent yesterday in a&e with period pain from hell- couldn't even walk without crouching into a ball. Luckily GP now listening to what I say when I say there is pain and is going to do a scan. Small merceys 'eh?!

Am hoping it doesn't rain today re: grotty weather confused76! I am in London and we seem to have escaped much of the floods, maybe everyone should just come live in London! (No don't- its not that nice a place in rush hour!) but you just know our time is comming! Its a weekend thing, right?!
Hope you are well too, sorry to hear about the lack of payrises, not the sort of thing you need 6 weeks to Christmas (sorry for the reminder!).

Am on way to psychiatrist appointment as a result of what happened with me last week. Ambivilant as have just managed to block everything out of my mind...not the best advice but when your desperate, you do anything to get by.
