He soon learned that if it's not in the wash basket it won't get washed! He doesn't like the idea of running out of undies so he's quite good at putting his clothes in the wash basket!
Do you want him to do his washing entirely seperate from yours? Might be an idea to have a talk with him about what you want him to do around the place!
I'm on a roll, so going to tackle the LR now! It's a tip!
The thread is too long to read at the moment, I didn't catch up with it yesterday so I've about 20 pages to read, will sit down with a cup of tea later but oh is wanting the computer now. Hope you are all having productive days, hugs to those in need.I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0 -
Ok I am here, for all those who have missed me!!
Been a bit busy today.

What an excellent idea Dusty - I shall think of something - anything to get out of washing down the woodwork again! PS - hope your cold is getting better. And I hope the funeral went well.
Pigpen - big, big hugs love - what a megabucket of issues for you to deal with all at once. Sending you a big, big squishy hug and putting on my 1980s shoulder padding for you to sob on if you wish xx
Maralum - how the devil are you?
Welcome Reef
Valli - nice one with the extra hour:D
Rose - hugs - hope you're feeling better v. soon
Well the trip to the vets went relatively smoothly. With the aid of the vet, an assistant and some gravy bones, we finally managed to get the stitches out of BB but it took about 10 minutes! She was a bit traumatised going there again but is OK now. The lump was an "Infundibular keratinising acanthoma" (almost an IKEA but not quite!) - something to do with hair folicles and stuff....
Beautiful evening again so the dog and I sat out in the garden for a bit catching some rays before the sun went behind next door.
I am now going to attend to some emails, pay my gas and elec bills then tackle today's list.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

At the risk of being contraversial (sp? - spot the person who went to the pub for tea) and just in case Phil and OJK are too scared to post, I think the point we are making is why do people assume one person will do it - not necessarily the female! I have to plead guilty to doing nothing with my first DH, and moaning if he didn't iron the right stuff -I did the toilets and cooked (very badly tbh) - he did everything else. You have to make a choice and stick to it. When DH2 and I met and agreed to have children we discussed hat we both wanted and expected going forward, and what we agreed was that I would be the main child care provider, that he would pay the mortgage so that I could stay at home and that as the person who had the most time I would do the majority of the boring house stuff. We trade off each others skills, I organise stuff, he does the most amazingly practical stuff that I just cant do. It works for us. When it starts to fall down is when one gets resentful of the other and it all gets horrible. I got upset for a while and it did us no favours. It took A n W's mum to give me a sense of perspective - however annoying and untidy he is I couldn't stand it if I lost him (sorry if this upsets you AnW). You either accept things as they are or you explain how you feel and what you are asking for in a way in which the other people understand and make things change. Life is just too short. Sorry, I don't mean to upset anyone with this, just trying to explain how I (mostly) cope with someone who never, ever lifts a finger.
Still not done any flying, but must get on or we will be in CHAOS tomorrow when it just isn't an option. ....Hyperventilates quietly......'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Oh, and as we're going down at 10pm tomorrow night, don't forget Froddington has organised afroddington wrote: »Flylady Southern Meet - Saturday 4th April(all flyladies and gents welcome)
The plan is to meet at The Foresters Arms in Brockenhurst
http://www.newforestonline.biz/forestersarms/
Brockenhurst is less than 15 minutes from Southampton on the train, so it's not far and will be easier for those driving to park!
If any of you planning on joining in, PM me and I'll send you my mobile phone number in case you get lost/shyI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Thanks toots for your kind wishes for my OH today
and everyone else who mentioned it. It went really well, they took ten biopsies and found his UC extends all the way around the whole of his Colon. They also found a small polyp which was removed. Next step, wait for results of biopsies and for them to decide what meds next. I am hoping no more steroids after they were such a waste of time last time for such a lot of worry when he was coming off them (terrible mood swings) and worrying about more weight gain while he was on them. Anyway it's done now and we even managed to cancel our lift home and get the bus! Only after I grilled him on whether he was really feeling perfectly fine or not lol.
I have done no flying over the past day or so, I feel quite bad about that but will try and get some done later and tomorrow. I have also not been eating properlybut resuming normally from this moment on (after my chinese I ate earlier hehe).
