At the risk of being contraversial (sp? - spot the person who went to the pub for tea) and just in case Phil and OJK are too scared to post, I think the point we are making is why do people assume one person will do it - not necessarily the female!

Good point and well made Hex. It depends on everyones individual relationship with their OH - no-one should do anything just because 'it's whats expected' but because it works for both of you. I know when I first met hubby I did everything for him, you know, wanted to impress and all that plus that was what my Mum did for my Dad, although my dad did a lot and was also very handy around the house. After a few years I realised that hubby did nothing at all and I did it all and it did cause a lot of resentment (I have always had to work too) but we got over it as I'm sure all you will who are annoyed at the moment. We argued, fought, shouted a hell of a lot, and finally spoke civil to each other (just... :rotfl: ) and discussed it and in the end we have a happy medium (I boss him around but in a way that he thinks he thought of it!) and it works for us. Do what works for you and you will be OK. Ohhh, I'm full of rants and bu!! today, sorry about that...:o :rotfl:

OK, flying wise... (Valli, my projects are what I am going to try to do over Easter - list is just getting bigger so might as well start somewhere... )

I didn't get the windows wash but the dog got washed instead. All his blankets and bedding has been washed. He now smells like a puppy. I am going to wash the windows tomorrow and also the conservatory windows as well. Once I have done all this all rooms will have been cleaned this week.

Haven't managed to catch up on the thread at all so big hugs to everyone who needs them. Big hello to all newbies.

Been a bit crazy here as my sister is going through a bit of a rough time but we think she may have it sorted abit better now.

We've got half a new fireplace here and 3/4 of a new kitchen.:rotfl: The rest of the fireplace should be here tomorrow and rest of kitchen won't be here until May.

Have spent a bit of time out in the garden and doing a little bit of flying but not alot. Need to go sort DD out as she's up at the hospital tomorrow for the child development clinic (hopeing it will go well) plus she has an absess(sp) so is grumpy but can't get her into the dentist till monday.

Right best go and sort the kiddies and then get myself to bed.
    Night night everyone.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

pigpen - hugs for all you're going through and congrats on the exam result and the debt reduction

REEF - welcome (to the madhouse!!)

Dusty - glad it went well; hugs for you all

Crafty - do you honestly think I'd be that organised?!!! It has worked out well though!

I have PMed people who I know are coming to let them have my mobile number (sexymouse, I know you already have it!). If anyone else wants to come, as soappie said, that'd be great!
