Greebee - I tried Vaseline a few years ago. I think the slugs liked it, didn't make any difference anyway! I think we have special slugs round here.

Why is it that when Men are left in charge of the kitchen it always looks like a bomb site.
It was shiny as a new pin earlier and now looks like a bombsite. Must be just my dh and ds !!
    Never mind
Washed ds bedding and did 4 other loads. Although on line none of it was properly dry so just popped it on clothes horse to air. Smells lovely.

Pigpen Hun congratulations on your results they are fantastic and a credit seeing as what else is happening in your life.
Big hug for you hun and i hope things pick up for you soon. You should get the ball rolling and claim the dla and see if you can get it backdated too.
Your little girl will be fine. She has the best mum ever to look after her xx.

Flower count me in for a piggers visit :) and you list missus, wayyyyyyyyyy to long. Ditch it, it wears me out whizzing over it!!!! Hope DS comes to his senses soon. I tend to think you need to let him find out the hard way like you did with DD, tough love but he will thank you in the long run.

Yep, think I have to agree with you on both cases there - list and DS - both a waste of time... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Only kidding.

I actually need to sit down and then just work through the list - no distractions - until it is gone. I am not going to post it any more though - having it is enough and I have a plan - thanks to Toots and Valli and my weekend away last week... Lots to plan and do and that's the main bit - Planning is a big part but actually DOING is the key! I am going to break my list (and other stuff) down and then book it an appointment as such in my diary and actually do it when it comes around... Sometimes you can be busy being busy and getting no-where fast. I never have time, yet if someone calls I find time, so now is the time to find some time for me...

You know, I think I have plugged my mouth (or fingers in this case) into my phone charger by mistake, coz I'm certainly coming out with some stuff today, and not just on here either... brain is on overload today, so I really do apologise if I'm rambling, but have been downloading my brain and putting loads down on paper covering loads of aspects in my life and I am getting there - as long as I follow up on it... Please keep nagging me if you notice me slacking... ;)

I have just put another wash on, remade DS's bed and and taken the sheets he stripped and put in the wash out, folded them and they are ready to iron.

I'm off to work tomorrow, but will update when I get home... see you all then :hello:

Flower... definitely too much planning and not enough doing... and if you're not careful you'll be replanning because something has changed!

Can you tell DS that if he isn't going to study he has to pay his way, and do his share of the housework? It doesn't seem right that you're working, doing the housework and the cooking, and he's not pulling his weight. I have to admit I never did much housework as a teenager, but I did do some of the laundry and a lot of the cooking during the school holidays (I seem to remember my brother did the mowing as his contribution... and my parents have a LOT of grass!).

I've had a nice long soak in the bath, done my physio and hot water bottles are made, so I'm off to bed now. I'm off to the gym again at the crack of dawn, so I probably won't catch up again until the evening. Hopefully I'll see you all here before it closes, but otherwise I'll catch you on yahoo!

If Friday's list is up I'll update my list so I know where I am!
