Flower - lock the kitchen cupboards and refuse to feed him until he does some? Or is that maybe a bit extreme?

Sunnygirl - thanks for asking, i'm just being a bit overdramatic about things.

On the plus side - think the inventory check went well! She didn't give me a huge list of things to do, just rehoover the floor (when there's decorating about to be done - don't think so! but i suppose i'll have to). Tomorrow I'm going to give the keys in! (That's flying - decluttering two pairs of keys and an entire flat)

Valli - it's not my fault!! The first one, was two days after we moved into the flat, it got jammed, I rang dad who said just pull on the string a bit to try and unjam it. The string came off in my hands. Maintenance guy said he'd fix it but didn't. Second one, I don't know what happened it just stopped working. Third one in the new flat, the sparky said its 3 years old and needed replacing anyway. Just annoying that when it blew, it tripped the fuse and turned all the lights in the place out. Whilst I was in the shower. And there is no window in the bathroom. Thankfully i'm so scared of the dark i keep torches everywhere. But well done on your success!!!

Potatoes on the hob boiling, oven on for fishcakes, kids playing in the garden. Suppose I've got no excuse for not vacuuming the lounge? Oh well, may as well get on with it.

Just dashing through - busy day again! Sam says thank you for all of his birthday wishes -he is having a lovely day. We are off out for dinner shortly at his favourite pub with a play park.

Pigpen - just wanted to say take care of yourself - and would echo everything Flower said.

I have so much to do tomorrow - lots of HHCs coming up. Fingers crossed everyone for a bit of sunshine so I can chuck them all outside onto the bouncy castle.
