    hi everyone

haven't posted for a couple of days but have been keeping up.

it's my day off today but i haven't stopped - every where sparkling:D

ds is off sick and has been all week - got a cancellation at the docs this morning because he has just been getting worse not better and turns out he's got quite a bad chest infection - was asked why we didn't go earlier and i kindly replied that he had an appt for next tues! and had the doc ever tried booking an appt to see himself lately!!!

i've also helped mum decorate her downstairs cupboard today ( it never needs decluttering - she could put kim and aggie to shame). it didn't need decorating but decorating is my mum's hobby she finishes one place and starts another - bit like the forth bridge. but since dad died last summer she hasn't done any so it was quite nice that she felt up to doing this as this was my mum being like her old self.

    hope everyone is well

    probably be back on tonight

    hugs

DS2 now in school for the last period of the day, cooking practical.

I'm just making a cuppa then I'm going to hoover the living room and hall. I really want to go in the garden but if I do it will be another day of no flying.

    Back from HHC

    Here's how I did:

Thursdays are Trilling!! - Living pit, hallway, stairs!!
    Vacuum stairs!Later...when DD2 is up
Vacuum under the furniture you can safely move!
    Clean the sofas
[STRIKE]Declutter the inside of a cupboard or drawer! No cupboards or drawers in lounge to clear so will declutter all the washing off the chair. Believe me...that'll be as much work as cleaning a cupboard out![/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]Wipe and water the plants[/STRIKE]
    2. Get a pile of filing done!!
Doesn't look like much but at least I've only got the vacuuming left to do.

    How did you do egon?

GTX...Hope your DS is feeling better soon.

Dusty...Glad the funeral went ok. I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders just after my Grandad's funeral and slept like a log that night. Hopefully time will be a healer for you and you can remember all the good times you had. x

3 mile run went well last night. Felt great after it and had a really good sleep last night. I really want to go tonight as it'll probably turn out to be a nice evening but unfortunately I've got to work.

Think I'll do a bit of shredding / filing while I have a sit down. Taking the opportunity to sit down for half an hour so I'm not too knackered for work tonight.

I have been working on it for a while. parrots have eased it a bit - it seems to be at the top of a crown - just below my nose is sore sore maybe there's a wee infection - will see how it goes.

    Hi guys

Sorry I didn't get back to let you know what I did in my HHC, but it went a bit manic here again (as usual)...

Have done some more from my list and am now about to have lunch after I have chased up DS who has done basically nothing AGAIN today - cannot seem to get through to him how important this studying is - any ideas out there how I can get him to do it?
    So far I have:
    • Threatened
    • Cajoled
    • Bribed
    • Told him how much he needs it to ensure place in college
    • Explained how he needs them to get a good job,
    • broken things down into time segments
    • said he can do *"insert desire here"* if he gets it done
I am stumped - it is pure lazyness and how do you overcome that? any ideas gratefully received.

Dusty, so sorry, forgot all about the funeral today. I'm glad it went well (as well as these things can anyway). You need some me time now love, even an hour is good so see if there is anything you can do with no disturbances just for you...

    Hello all

I have been (and am) really busy but have done my bathroom and kitchen THOROUGHLY today
and***taa daa** I have dismantled my extractor (my name's NOT Carol lol) removed the VERY perished filter, and the charcoal filter cartridge, soaked the drop down bit and the glass pull forward bit in the bath in soda crystals and hot water...

Well - whoever has posted about it's degreasing qualities I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have frequently removed the glass and used a brillo pad, much less frequently cleaned the drop down by the same way.
Not this time - the grease (and perished filter)- just soaked off - a quick wipe with a green scourer just to remove the last bit - the glass just needed rinsing...not an iota of elbow grease needed.
cleaner than it has ever been - nipped to domestic spares place for new filters and job done!

    Sexy
sorry to hear that - when you go for your feedback tell them you would appreciate being considered for supply...you never know!

    Hi everyone

A bit more off my list. Auntie has just left and I decluttered Piper with her. It's been nice to have visitors and my house to be passable. DS1+2 off to visit Papa and take him some herbs they planted for his window sil. I'm going to make myself a cuppa and something to eat and get it while the house is empty.
