claire, hugs to you! Hope you manage to make up for last week (it is only a blip remember!).
Leothecat, are you in Bangor? Good luck with selling, just stick it on pretty low and it will get some interest. You might even spark a bidding war!! p.s. decorating IS exercise, silly! So you're doing fine. :A

Tara - yes I am in Bangor. North Down blah blah blah so hoping we shall maybe get some interest. We have a figure that we need to achieve which is considerably lower than it was valued at a few weeks ago so we are very optimistic . Had a few estate agents in to value it and they all came in around the same figure. Funny, they all said that if it is priced correctly, you should get an offer within 6 weeks (sounds like estate agent talk to me). We shall see.0

Dear All,
(asking sheepishly) Dragon - can I be added for April please? I'm happy to post my starting weight, 10st 8.5 lbs, not good.
I totally fell off the March wagon last month and didn't post after the first week or so, almost entirely out of guilt as I stopped calorie counting and exercising! I blame all the birthdays and do's but frankly, it's my usual problem of not prioritising myself and weight loss. As such, I seem to have only lost a measly 1.5/2 lbs in March but I am back on the wagon for April and planning to re-join my local running club and go to the gym, walk more generally and eat better.
Fingers crossed eh?!
Hi to all the newbies and learn from my experience peeps - if you keep posting and reading, you keep focussed. We can do it!
Hugs,
NTL

Hi all, hope you had a good weekend. I did. Walked to the train station, about 2ish miles I think. Met my friend in the city. Walked and walked round the city, and shops and then went to the theatre to see Flashdance - was excellent. Was carefullish with my eating, couple of half lagers but nothing really bad. Yesterday went out for dinner with M&D didn't eat much more the rest of the day. Weighed myself this morning (my weigh inday is Thurs, but I have the same problem lots of you have!) I put on 3lbs!!!!!! I was so not impressed. Took my girls out today, took them to McD's for lunch, I was going to just have a coffee, and thought *!$* it, and had a Premier chicken burger!!!
Chicken and veg for tea tonight, nothing after that, over on my WW points, but not too many.
Hope everyone is doing ok with theirs, I need to buck up, or I will not reach under 12 st by the 17th May. My next personal mini goal.
Anyway, better get the kids tea done, have a good evening.
Taffy xNeed to sort my life out! :T0 -
Hi guys
Hope you're all well - we seem to be a bit of a mixed bunch at the moment - some losers, some gainers and some STS-es which is all normal life!
Nevertoolate - it's never too late to pop back into this thread! I'm the same, and dont feellike posting when I feel i haven't got anything "good to report" - so I'll just post and go on for a bit anyway!
Tara - glad you got into your dress for the wedding - reminds me of what i'm trying to lose weight for!!
Dragon - hope the nurse can help you with your eating plan.
I've been ok ish. Kids at home so have so far made it out with them everyday - yes i know today is technically the first day!!! But we spend a few hours at the park on saturday playing frisbee and my DS can now ride his bike without stabilisers - whcih is good as he wants me to take him out all day long.
Got my free gym sessions today from the nurse and the WW referral - although it will take a few days for the paperwork to come through and the session isn't running for bank holiday Monday -typical! BUT i'm still motivated and sticking with it. At the gym tomorrow and this week willbe doing mybest to get to aquatone for 2 evenings. There's another gym which does women's only sessions twice a week on different days to my local so have got some flexibility there too.
I have been snacking on bits and not been sticking to WW points - just randlomly making them up - so i do need to get back to buckling down as i saw and felt a real difference when i did do it properly.
ok, i'll shut up now! xx0 -

Sorry Tara, no great anti snacking tips here....the best thing that works for me is to not have any sweet snacks that I like in the house....but that is difficult to work with three growing sons and a slim husband!
Well I'm going to try and track what I am eating each day....kind of boring for all of you but I think it will help me:
Breakfast: banana and muesli bar
mid morning snack: rice cake with peanut butter and jam
Lunch: Pitta bread with felafel and salad
Dinner: Jacket potato and tuna
Drinks, water, tea, soya milk
