Weighed myself this morning
actually put on a little, so not impressed but if i moved myself more i'd be ok, so cross with myself and re-newly focused!!
Good Luck everyone, have a good day0 -
hhhhmmmmpppphhhh - was feeling all nice and slim this morning, after eating well yesterday and going for a swim - and I was weighing 1lb heavier! Feeling very fed up with it all today - totally sick of the sight of my flabby stomach!!! Does anyone else have the same prob? Or even better - does anyone have any idea of a good diet/exercise plan to follow which helps shift the stomach flab? I know you can't target specific areas for fat loss - but if anyone has any tips at all - it'd be muchly appreciated!
Plzhelpmesave - That's great news on the free gym/diet class - very MSE!!
Lilysue - Sounds like a good days worth of eating! :A Fingers crossed it'll rub off on the rest of us!
Dragon - How are you getting on with the eating? Hope you're managing to get a few more calories into you!

Help me please! I can't stop eating crap!
I have had no rubbish in the house for weeks and have not missed it. Bought some of the £1 Easter eggs in Asda the other day along with some prawn cocktail crisps (cos dd loves them) and have eaten the lot!
Hmmm - I think that tells me something - DON'T BRING THE CRAP INTO THE HOUSE!!!
I will definitely have put on this week.
I think I'm going to go and see my Dr and see if they will give me a referral to the gym. Also, I'm so down all the time - maybe they will be able to help me there too?
I just can't seem to get out of the cycle of self loathing, then thinking that I'm so disgusting - what's the point of trying! Then hating myself for being so bloody weak! Then eventually I get back round to being motivated and realising that I am responsible for my own happiness and well being and then I get back on the wagon. It's flipping hard tho.0 -
Leothecat ~ think you have hit the nail on the head when you say don't bring the crap into the house! This is a big challenge for me....bringing treats in for the rest of the family then snapping and eating them.
I honestly feel that there is a big emotional link with food , as you say if you are feeling low it is incredibly hard to make the effort to take care of yourself or feel that change is possible. I also find that I eat to cover up my feelings, I know that I am going to be sharper and edgier with my family now that I am back on the wagon so to speak....and it's the Easter holidays as well
Having said that one of the things that has helped me is that I have started looking at woman my size and bigger, and thinking that I like the way they look, I can see beautiful things about them....so why not apply that to myself.....I find it hard to do, but I'm working on this!0 -
Oh no, I had a whole long post written about everyone and it vanished!!!!
Anyway, I weighed in 59.6kg this morning, woohooooooooooo! :j That's the lightest I've been since starting the challenges on 1 Feb! It's only 4lb lighter than 2 months ago (bit pathetic really) but I am just happy to be under 60kg again and hoping to stay that way. I am so pleased! It made me feel even guiltier about what I ate yesterday though, so I am making a big effort today!
I haven't got long left but anyway, my big post was just a supportive rambly thing with lots of congrats (especially to Dragon, well done you with your 1000 calories!). LilySue and Leothecat, you also made some excellent points. (((Hugs))) to both of you! I'll post again later xoxoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

hi i weighed myself again and have come to the conclusion this isnt working. i took my recommended calorie intake from the calorie count sitebut different sites advise different daily amounts. i have worked really hard on my bike etc and lost nothing so am going to have to review my calorie allowance. i have 5 stone to lose. does anyone have any advice as to what my calorie allowance should be for weight loss? am so fed up:rotfl:"that grady! won't sit next to a black child in church! but eats eggs, shoot right out a chickens !!!!!!" from fried green tomatoes:rotfl::smileyheaMSE is where my friends live :smileyhea0

smallpackages, have a hug!!!! It is so disheartening I know, but don't give up babe! Take the average of what those sites say and that should be near enough your calories allowance. The exercise does work eventually, I promise! Keep at it xoxoxo
I had no dinner this evening (went straight to the cinema and had no time) but ate rather a lot of ice cream instead, ooops!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dreading to think what it's going to do to me. Why am I sabotaging myself lately?? I know what to do, I just need to do it. Morning all,
(((hugs))) to those who need them.
I got my race number for the Race For Life yesterday, just gotta fit some training in as 10days before I'm taking part in a 46mile walk/jog for cancer research (not sure how many miles I need to do yet but probably 10miles)
tara how tall are you? My last weigh in was 62.1kg, I'm aiming for under 60kg. Was a time (I'm 5'2") I was 51.7kg that just made me ill and look it too, I was totally obsessed by all things food and exercise!
Remember - Today is a new day, Go for what you want!!
Instead of giving myself reasons why I can't, I give myself reasons why I can.0
