Good morning All
It sounds like spring is startiung to poke through in most places sun is shining here though not been out yet to know how warm it is. Not long up as work a double shif yesterday and by the time I get in and wind down it about 3 or 4 in the morning, (well thats my excuse). WM on as we speak, both DD and DS fed and now parked in font of TV.
Lsit of things to try and fit in today endless, so will have to narrow it down to most important.GC: £400/ £00 -
Morning everyone.
Sounds cheerful on here this morning, which is really good to hear. :j
I've been up since 7. We went to pick up DH's bike rack from Derby yesterday, so he has insisted on getting up early today to go over to Ladybower reservoir to have a circuit around it in preparation for his weekend away in June.
I've avoided using the WM this morning as no doubt he will come in covered in mud, very sweaty and cold. So i'm planning on him going straight in the bath.
He wanted me to go with him. I cried off saying it wouldn't be wise for me to do it, but as i haven't been on a bike since i was 15, i can't help feeling even if i wasn't pregnant, it would be a bit too much.
We also booked the kittens into a luxury cattery for the Easter weekend so we can go visit my inlaws at the seaside. I'm really looking forward to it as i should have had a scan by then, and its also the first time we'll have seen them since late November.
Plan for today - write a list of the jobs i want to get done through the week so i can tackle them before going back to work on the 27th. Make a loaf. Do some washing and perhaps ironing if i'm feeling energetic. I'm going to turn some carrots into a soup, and we have a bought chicken pie for lunch as i'm still not coping with raw meat. Oh well. Hope the sickiness doesn't last too much longer.
I'm going to have to buy some new clothes for work as none of my trousers will fasten. OOOPs. I can't blame pudding yet. (unless its the ones that you eat :rotfl: ) i don't want to hit maternity clothes yet, so i may just buy one or two pairs of cheap black trousers in a couple of sizes bigger and then wear a jumper over the top. If only it were warmer. I've quite a few elasticated waist summer skirts that would fit no problem. Oh well.
Enjoy your day. I'm going to have to try not to giggle when DH comes home knackered as it is inevitable he will try to do what he could when fit, a few years back now.

Good morning all!! Don't get to post on here very often at the moment - hope you don't mind me popping in when I can!
It's a gorgeous sunny day here in Birmingham!!!!!:j I've got a load in the WM and will put it on the line once its finished. Have about another 2 loads to go!!
Need to clean the lounge/kitchen today - did upstairs yesterday.
DS1 has just got back from swimming lesson and has a party at 12.00 - his Dad is taking him to this one (I took him to one yesterday!) I'm going window shopping with DS2, although I'm on the lookout for some clothes to get me throught he next few months (before I need PROPER maternity gear!) Have been feeling a bit sick & tired, but other than that - things going OK!
Not sure about a meal for today - DS1 will eat at the party. Forgot to get the chicken out of the freezer to defrost!!
Will see my parents later today!
DS2 is now on the road to recovery - he was very poorly with a nasty ear infection during the week - the wonders of antibiotics!!!!!

Morning everyone :hello:
Thank you so much to all those people who sent me birthday wishes yesterday! I didn't (for once) get onto MSE as I was so busy!
Yesterday morning, I went with OH's mum and big sister to a dress fair in aid of a cancer charity. I got a pair of Joseph trousers, still with the tag in, for £4! I was mightily impressed. I then went to their town's farmers' market, where I managed to get a few bits and pieces.
In the afternoon, my friend and her husband turned up, so we watched a bit of the rugby. In the evening we all went to the local greyhound track. I had one winner............... but that was it. It was something different to do on my birthday and really quite a cheap night out, in the end.
They've just left (after bacon and egg sarnies cooked by OH), and OH is taking me out for lunch at a nearby pub. We've got some more friends turning up this afternoon for a cup of tea and to give me my birthday present. However, we've got some presents to give them in return.
My brother is also threatening to turn up. He got back to the UK on Friday, having spent the last 18 months mostly in Australia. He sounds exactly the same............... just as immature :rotfl:.
Anyway, I'd better go and wash up.
Have a good day everyone

I think my Dyson is Dead:eek: It died on cleaner friday and OH washed out the filter as we usually do and normally that does the trick but this time it hasnt! I think its still under cover though (hopefully), so will dig that out.... in a while and check!
Second washload on the line. When visiting family last night I was holding the baby and he upchucked on me and got OH too...LOL, so more washing and they were clean jeans/OH's shirt that had only just been washed and ironed:rolleyes: I dont miss babies:rotfl: He's a lovely little thing, happy, cuddly, content and that gets me broody but the sicky and nappy changing....Naaaaa......LOL. DW on ATM. Lamb in the oven on low, think we may do some new potatoes and make a potatoe salad with the remains
The weather here is glorious ATM and not too cole either. Was reading the paper yesterday and they stated that this time last year it was 19c:eek: and we had a chill factor of -1 yesterday:cool: Seems to be a little all over the place. Last Easter holidays we went to a mates house and DD was in their pool it was that warm....cant see us doing that in the next 3 weeks if weather still like this....well....maybe ice skating:D
OH has suggested a crumble for pudding later and am not too sure what to use as a base. I have plums, pears, apples and some tinned stuff, so will see what needs using most urgent!
OH & DD have gone off to their church meeting, so nice and quiet here. Just watching casualty.
Its a good day it seems for most of us today. Also, have sold some bits on ebay-so £35 towards DD's uniform:j

Hello everyone.
Had a great day here yesterday. We tidied out the loft. Phew, what a job! I now have five bin bags full of car boot items in my lounge, three boxes of books for either ebay, readitswapit or amazon in the study and a box of ebay items (not books) in the spare bedroom. I listed a couple of items on freecycle and someone is coming to collect one of them this afternoon.
I have just put an ad in our local free newspaper for the car boot items. I'm sure someone will want them.
WM is just finishing and will be pegged out shortly. I need to put BM on as well. I didn't get any baking done yesterday but I would like to do something this afternoon, perhaps gingerbread or carrot cake.
Guinea pigs need cleaning out as well.
OH is just out for his long run. He is training for the London Marathon so when I next see him he will have covered 20 miles on foot. I think I need a lie down just thinking about it!
Have a great day everybody.
