Morning
Waiting for someone to start...thanks! LOL.
WM on, DW loaded up for later. Toilet cleaned. House all clean and tidy from last week, so not much to do housework wise today. The floors need a quick flick, bin needs emptying and thats about it really:rolleyes:
Had a good time at BIL's last night and SIL did a buffet style tea. I took some HM potatoe salad and HM coleslaw and a trifle, and she did some lamb kebabs, chicken fajitas, spicy chicken, salad, rice etc etc and was scrummy. Was there for about 3hrs and was lovely.
Remembered to take the leg of lamb out of freezer last night for dinner today and a few extra portions for the week. Quite a large leg bought cheapily for about £2 stickered at Sainsburys and is Organic:eek: not used to such luxuries..LOL.
On way to BIL's we popped into Aldis (a different one to where we normally go once a month) and they even had an electric wheelchair there, so was much easier for OH & I. Got some great buys, all me tinned foods for the month(12 beans, 6 toms, 4 sweetcorn, 3 peas, soups x 4, tuna x 4,kidney beans x3), bread x 10 loaves, milk, 3 x best of bacon...delish..better than M&S, butter, best of ham..better than M&S, mint jelly, yogurts for DD's lunchbox, mushrooms, parsnips, plums, new potatoes, biscuits, fresh egg waffles, cranberry sauce, mushroom pasta sauce...delish and olive oil...came to £17.68.....very impressed!!
Breakie:Bacon/Mushroom sandwich
Lunch:Soup. HM Roll & Butter
Dinner:Roast lamb, roasties, HM Yorkies, Stuffing, Parsnips, Carrot, cabbage, peas and minted gravy.
Hope everyone is OK. Hugs to all.

'Morning everyone:hello:
We have sunshine too - but a bit chilly. I'm sat here wrapped in my quilt with a lovely cup of tea to keep me warm.
Today is washing and ironing day here - so that I have all my clothes ready for the week.
I'm going to do a pork casserole in the slow cooker for this evening's meal. So I'll have to get going with that in an hour or so.
Made 2 batches of yoghurt yesterday and this morning I've put one lot in a muslin lined sieve to strain the liquid into a bowl so that I end up with greek yoghurt. I had an old 6 pot Bel Yoghurt maker (a car boot find at £1.50) but OH has treated me to the Lakeland one at £19.99 which makes a litre at a time. He also bought me a spare container for the inside so that I can make up another batch as the first is going down.
I bought a celery yesterday so apprentice_tycoon's celery soup is going to be on the menu at lunchtime with HM greek yoghurt and honey to finish.Enjoying an MSE OS life0 -
LOL, Queenie I am already on my second. My first was consumed in the garden and that was enough to wake anyone up

Morning all
Blue skies here today too - looks cold though.
SC chicken today and a trip out somewhere with DD's and DH - we had a lazy one yesterday - need to do a few bits today and then promised them a bike ride somewhere (me's thinking along the beach).
Made some lovely cushions for DD1 yesterday - used an old denim shirt of DH's, used the front for an oblong one (including the breast pocket) and the sleeve for a "bolster" style one - she's really pleased.
Anyway - have a good one all."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Monrning all,
Not had a chance to read all the posts have just read a few.
Moggins do you work in a pre-school?
I had a fab time at the good food show yesturday. I met Sarah Beanie, Oliver Heath and Lesley Walters.
Got loads of freebies to bring home far more that i did from the Good Food show.
I managed to get to the show and back using the underground without getting lost :T
My fave bit was the waterfall in the middle of the show. It was stunning would love one in the back of my garden.
We did not cue to see any of the show houses as the wait was a hour plus long.
I would have liked to have seen Penny Poyzer but she was not there on the day we were.
Anyhow i have been up since 4am as my DS is now ill and i need a cup of tea.
Catch you all laters

Queenie wrote:My List today is pretty much the same as yesterday due to getting sidetracked and only managing to tidy my desk and a bit in the boys room
Sidetracked  sidetracked
You call entertaining the troops in the Arms being sidetracked :rotfl:
Only just found my keyboard under all the lists of songs and wet tissues from laughing so much last night :whistle:0
