DH is about 1/4 irish and takes today very seriously  unfortunately I wont be partaking this year as we cant get a babysitter  . Never mind I'll be able to laugh tomorrow when hes hungover.

Its cleaning day here and i also have a list of other to-do's . I'm ashammed to say that me and DD arent dressed yet  , she woke at 6 when DH went to work I ignored her (bad mummy) and she went back to sleep till 9am. Going to get the WM on now, get dressed have a tidy round and then nip to tesco for some milk. Then its the excitement of the cleaning.

    Lunch: Tea and toast
    Lunch: No idea yet
Tea: HM burgers and HM oven chips

    Have a good day everyone

Top o the mornin to ye!
Done my back in so my Anthea style blitz of the house will have to wait (must stop watching her show... daughter's fault)
Having some guinness later and mashed potatoes with spring onions, haddock and whisky soaked prawns.
Some of my ancestors came over to the Midlands to escape the potato famine so I ought to mark this day really, in honour of their resilience (must be where i got it from)
Weird how i ended up living in the city they first came to, although until recently I thought my family was from East Anglia someone's traced the tree back further - fascinating:)
just off to do some bookkeeping, inspired after doing a course at business link yesterday, my paperwork is in fair order but i want it to be perfect.
Did want to go out to town, need fruit and some baskets to put things in (anthea shut it now...) AAARGH that womans in my head!
Took some co-codamol or something and my head feels icky :( I think guinness will be better!

Things have totally gone to pot at Animal Towers as my Dad died last week and I can't seem to focus. Have bribed DD to do ironing and blitz kitchen as she has a half day. She knows I'm shopping for her 18th birthday present this weekend, so Im sure at least some of the backlog will be cleared by the time I get home from work!

    Morning everyone.

I had a lovely lie in this morning till 9. I was going to get up with DH at 7, but thought stuff it, and managed to get back to sleep. I already feel much better just from this. I'm on the 2nd load through the WM, and have made plans to have a bit of a wardrobe sort out.

I've been given some maternity clothes by my sisters, so i need to have a sort through and see what fits, and go through my clothes and see what will fit me a bit longer and what is already too small. I've only put on a couple of pounds, but some of my jeans are not very forgiving. I think they can go in a suitcase under the bed, and let me get everything else put away.

It's damp here today but feels a bit warmer. I will try to not put anything in the TD, but i've a bit of a backlog of washing this week so if needs must, then it will get used.

I am going to be trying to make plans to visit a friend in Nottingham tomorrow. We need to go to pick up DH's bike rack, so hopefully we can combine the 2.

Enjoy St PAtricks day everyone. I like to celebrate if i can, but as i am off the booze, i don't think we'll get anywhere tonight.

    Michelle,

HAPPY ST PADDY'S DAY TO YOU ALL
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR DD THRIFTLADY, hope all goes well ay yje party
ASG sorry to hear of your lose.

Well house still tidy after Thrusdays clean, but know that it will look like stig has moved in tomorrow night as I'm at work in the day. DS is all fired up as he is half Irish, he's gone to school with all sorts of green paraphinalie and the story of how St Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland ( think the teacher may want a word at the end of the day).
Went to Ikea last night and am quite happy with my purchase got three quilt cover sets, 2 for DD and one for OH and I. Chair covers 2 for 20p :j as OH brought 2 just incase chairs home the other day from his nans, I was going to sand and paint and reupholster the them but the covers have saved me all that work.
I've been shopping and thought I'd completely blown the shopping buget but I had bought 6 bottles of wine that I have accounted for in our entertainment buget, through do need to get my head around the fact I'm ment to use the stuff I've got in the freezer and not just keep buyig more
