:j Congrats BrummieBabe on your forthcoming nappy event.
JW - Jo - sorry to hear about your troubles - you seem to be half way there with where you want to go - as others said at least he is a boyf and not a hubbie (not that it lessens any feelings or makes any decision easier) - I had to divorce my lazy, 2 timing scum bag but that is another story
Still havent got DD fiasco sorted - thanks for the help Jo
Well 'tis last day of the working week - my sis was down for dinner last night as we where getting our legs etec waxed - not OS I know but it is my treat (if you could call it that) - the lady brought her 3yo twins with her - what a bloomin handful they where - OH was wettin himself laughing at them with their antics.

Im exhausted - I had another panic attack last night and ended up sleeping on the sofa as I simply couldnt get back to sleep afterwards. I finally crashed out at about 2am, and the sofa was actually really comfy! Ive a feeling its going to be a long day today..... So lots to think about today anyway!
At least ive got home made soup for lunch, I made a lamb one in the sc and its lovely, ive been really enjoying it this week. I need to remember to go to the bank too today and put in some cheques as ive forgotten three times this week already. Boyf is at work this evening so ill have the house to myself again, so ill have a relaxing evening with a long bath and watch something on tv.
Have a lovely day all!

Morning everyone!
Well done to all the junior OSers with their 11+, whether "passed" or not. 2 of our DC took theirs, but there are so few grammar places in this area that the chances of being in the top few in the whole county is very small, so we were pleased that they had made the effort and done their best.
Brummiebabe, what good news! hope you keep well
Well, yesterday was not very OS, took DS off to stay with his friend in Suffolk (where it was lovely and sunny!) then called in to visit my grandma on the way back. When I got home, DH had finished early and arrived back about the same time, so he suggested we had a meal out, we do this so rarely - usually only for special occasions, so it is a real treat! So now this morning I feel as if I have put back on all the 1/2 stone I have lost (and probably then some!)
Today I don't feel like eating any breakfast, but I have got some nice sausages for dinner, which we will have with veggies & mash. The washing is done, and it is having a quick go in the TD, to half dry it before it gets hung up in the airing cupboard, as the weather does not look washing-friendly today.
Have a good day!0 -
Morning everyone, hugs to those who are going to need one today. :grouphug:
Well DH left for work about half an hour ago and woke we up before he wentwhich is why I'm on here. Munch is still asleep bless her so its peaceful and quite apart from the sound of my computer fan. Oh shes just woken up better be quick.
Came downstairs and wrote a list of things I want to get down this year and want to concentrate on which range from relationships to tidying and decorating. I've now put down each month and I'm writing what I want to get done for each of them, hopefully within a few months my list will be very small indeed providing I have the money to get the decorating done although most of it is finishing off paintwork etc.
Feeling motivated today so hopefully will tackle ironing shortly after having a cuddle with munch. Will also tidy kitchen and continue working though dinning room clutter. I have one mystery job to do today which I moved from yesterday so I will do that this afternoon on the way to taking munch to the big park.
Munch is now eating at the table with us rather than in her highchair which means I can clean it up and put it in the local paper for sale, can't wait for it to go it does get in the way a bit. Also need to put some stuff on ebay which will be much easier to do as I can use the now clear dinning table to photograph stuff.
DH is out gigging tonight and all day tomorrow so I suspect munch and I will be having lots of pasta and maybe pizza tomorrow.
Take care everyone have a lovely day.

Morning all.
Well, the build up to my parents visiting on Sunday is intensifying. I had a quick vacuum round yesterday, but today is a concerted effort on the sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. I have to look at these rooms through my Mum's eyes .. she who, when I was house-sitting for them whilst they were on holiday, returned home, stepped through the door, lifted the dish draining rack and looked underneath it, then announced "well, you haven't been exactly TRYING, have you?". Oooh, to this day, I don't know how I didn't deck her.
So, I shall arm myself with my trusty microfibre cloth, a bucket of warm water with vinegar and essential oil added, the vacuum cleaner for long-lost dust-ridden corners ... and set to.
Aside from that, I need to take DS to school, hubby to the JobCentre for the fortnightly humiliation that is signing on - and then I can get cracking. I also need to make a bacon and sausage quiche today, in readiness for Sunday.
No peace for the wicked.
B : marmite toast

Morning all,
hugs to all that need them especially Kiwi, I have everything crossed for you.
Nothing OS going on here today as I have gone on strike. Won't bore you with the details but I'm just sick and tired of being taken for granted so I am having a day pleasing myself. Was going to pop into town but it's too cold so I'm going to buy some chocolate on the way back from the school run and play games on the computer all day
Feeling a bit disgruntled with my Dad this morning as I feel he's taking the p*** too, every week I take them shopping having to drive 40 odd miles in total in a 1.8 car which gas guzzles if you don't drive it around 55mph. Yesterday he gave me £5 for petrol! Dad and I don't have a good relationship anyway and if it wasn't for Mum I'd tell him to start taking a taxi and find out how much that would cost him. I know I shouldn't think like that because they're my parents but I'm having to put £20 in the tank every time I go to pick them, that's £80 a month which I really can't afford.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Morning Campers!
Off work today :j so getting a quick 5 mins on here before the nippers arise. DS is up already, he is up with the lark most mornings, DD is still in land of snooze - honestly she is like a teenager if you try to waken her :rotfl: She is only 3, I dread the teenage years.
I went to see Mamma Mia last night with my mamma mia! It was a fantastic, dancing in the aisle's show. I would go back if anyone had a spare ticket! I really enjoyed it. Although I did have a mini-drama before I left the house - DD (above mentioned 3yo) "washed" my contact lenses while I was in the shower and now one of them is missing in action   Typical - I sit in night after night and don't go out, normally have quiet weekends - and then the one night I am going out, and the one weekend OH and I do manage to get away on this happens ( we are off to London early tomorrow morning until Sun Night) I DO have glasses but the prescription on them isn't as strong so I can't see as well. OH was on night shift last night so once he gets up he is going to take the U-bend off in the hope that it may be stuck there - I hope so because they are Gas permeable ones and to replace one it would be approx £50-£70, money I don't have to spare! So, can you all cross everything this morning and send virtual fingers crossed messages to me :rotfl: :rotfl: Don't you just Love your children!!! The little blighter denied it all and eventually after thorough interrogation(sp) owned up!
Anyhow, another day....
Today will be spent tidying the house as we will be away and I Hate coming back to a messy house. I will be getting the kids clothes ready as they are staying at my parents :j :j and then making sure what OH wants to take away with him is clean and ironed. I might also make the lemon cake that is on the I wanna lose weight board (it has chickpeas in it!)
Hugs to everyone this morning since its Friday. JO -sorry to hear about your panic attacks - my brother used to suffer badly so I can sympathise with you a lot.
Happy Friday
B: Porridge and a cup of hot water and lemon
L:left over pasta and homemade sauce from lunch yday
D:Salmon and sweet potato and some veg
Take care all0 -
Morning all :hello:
A nice day off for me today, have I mentioned that I only have 14 days left at work! Yesterday I managed to get confirmation that I am owed 2 days annual leave so last days has moved forward
Need to do all the litte jobs I have been avoiding so far this week, need to go to the bank, post office and want to look at the charity shops in a local town. However, I think that my grand plan may loss out to the cricket:)
OH is taking me out for fish and chips tonight ( Gosh don't I live in the fast lane!)
Will be watching ebay with interest this afternoon we have 15 items ending and should hopefully clear £100 all for 'rubbish' from the spare room. Whats the saying - " One mans trash is anothers treasure!"
Congratulations to mini pp and master queenie :j :J
Brummie Babe - 3 little ones wow how I admire you
Kiwichick - hang in there girl
Jo - I know its hard, my last relationship ended 6 months after we had bought a house together..... even though I knew it wasn't right before we started house hunting and I won't tell you when I knew my marraige was wrong - buts lets just say I was wearing a lovley white dress at the time ! But OH now is wonderful and I never thought that I'd be this happy. You only have one life girl - so live it the way you want - YOU deserve to be happy and loved.
Hugs to all
Have a good one.0 -
Good morning all!!!!:hello:
Rough night's sleep last night - DS2 woke up around 4.00am and took ages to settle.:(
DS1 & 2 both dressed and ready to go! I'm showered and ready for another day at the office!
Thanks to everyone for all the congratulations! Still doesn't feel real yet - probably won't believe it til I have a scan & see that there's something there!
Am in work til 5pm today so DH collects kids from nursery/school club & cooks the dinner (the only night he actually does this!)
Need to put WM & DW on before I leave for the school run!
Kiwichick - hope something gets sorted for you today - we had a similar situation when I was pregnant with DS1 - we had to move in with my parents for a couple of months rather than lose our sale, all stuff put in storage etc etc. It's so stressful and I really feel for you :grouphug:
Hope everyone has a great day - I'm going to tell my mate about my 'news' and have just told my mum. Will probably tell my sister aswell today, then that'll be it! Will be hard to keep it quiet though:silenced:
