    Morning :hello:

Went to a concert with XBF last night - an Indian jazz thing  Sorry, I'll try anything once, and what's the point of London if you don't explore a variety of the cultural events on offer, but I think I can safely say that it wasn't my thing. I admired the musical techniques involved but it just gave me a headache... should have known better really. Don't like jazz, don't like Indian music. So why would I like Indian jazz? :rotfl:

Tonight in contrast will be a quiet one at home, cooking a fisherman's pie and getting the WM on a couple of times. Thanks to the wet grey weather it looks like the TD is going to get a workout too.

An early night will be on the cards because I didn't sleep all that well last night. Woke up earlier than usual but could neither wake properly nor go back to restful sleep.

Breakfast: Oatso Simple (only 2 more helpings in this box before I give it up and start doing my own mix using cheapo oats :D)
    Lunch: Mushroom Soup
    Dinner: Fisherman's Pie with peas

FunkyFairy - sorry you didn't have such a great start to the day! I hope the bruise on your foot gets better soon. More to the point, is the laptop OK? :rotfl: At least feet don't tend to cost anything to fix.

catowen - that's great that you can eat properly again. Good choice with the korma for tonight though - I wouldn't think a vindaloo would help the healing process :D

Haven't heard from PP - she wasn't on MSN yesterday evening either. I think we can safely assume they kept her in hospital.

Right, must go, I have a personal development review meeting (mid year - not one that could directly get me a pay rise unfortunately!) with my boss in 13 minutes.

    Rzl xx

    morning all!

i was up fairly early this morning, and have been pottering on the computer doing pigsback, emails etc. its so nice to be off uni and be lecture free, even if i do have coursework coming out of my ears  i've made a good start though, and hope to make an even bigger dent in it all today.

bought 2 reduced to clear casserole veg packs from asdas last night, so will have a crack at making casserole today (i've only ever done soup before, so im looking forward!) am then deliberating whether to make black saturn malt loaf, or banana loaf cake, but with stewed apple  im currently leaning towards the apple cake because curiosity is getting the better of me. either way, will let you know how i get on :D

breakfast - 10p reduced to clear crumpets, and perhaps some cereal
lunch - whatever needs eating from the fridge
tea - casserole, some sort of potatoes and veg. mmm!

have a good day one and all, hope you enjoy the sunshine (before the rain returns)!

    Good Morning to Everyone,

There is quite a community of early risers here-makes me very impressed. My start is very slothful as I try to perk my low blood pressure up. Very frustrating as there is always lots that I would like to be doing. Also, I am apparently the only person who can find anything in this house so tend to be in demand for that.

DH has gone off for his chemo and DD is doing her Internet schooling, DS is at a rugby tournament. Well chuffed that he will be missing ordinary lessons.

I am supposed to be filling out a Defra form :p but look where I am instead :D Will force myself into it after doing this. There is something about MSE which causes me to wander endlessly through threads-always finding something of interest to read!

After any other bits of paperwork I will in hope hang the washing out and make soup for lunch. After that it will be either a potter in the garden or tackling the junk room aka the sitting room. Depends on the weather which is sunny at the moment but big clouds about too.

Need to decide what I am going to do with all the Tesco chicken bogofs that I got yesterday too.

Lunch: Lentil and fridge bits soup.
Supper: Potato, onion and bacon casserole, Strawberries and cream.

    (((((((Hugs))))))) to those in need.

Happy birthday Funky Fairy - hope you have good day

    Morning to everyone else

hugs to all who need them and all who dont

It is a lovely day here today - wish I was at home so I could get some washing out.

Still not feeling 100% today - hope it doesnt turn into a chest infection.

house tidied up before I came out this morning - but I have just remembered I have left the water heater on - that means it will have been on all day  going to have a bath when I get home see if that will make me feel any better.

    b - cereal
    l - sandwich - ham and coleslaw
d- prawns and pasta (should have had last night but changed my mind)

Well better get off and do some work now

    Have a lovely day all

    Take care

Stayed for a while and had coffee, looked at her new decorating etc and have just come home and hoovered downstairs. Accidentally sat on the PC chair as I was wandering upstairs to get the vax out of the loft :o

    Happy Birthday FUNKY FAIRY!!!!:bdaycake:

had some good news earlier, DS1 has got 2 interviews :j one for a modern apprenticeship and one for work based training, both based in Worcester.
One is on Friday so its a bit short notice and I'm trying to get time off work to take him as they can't rearrange it for any other time. The other is an aptitude test and interview in April. Its made me realise how much he's growing up!(apart from the fact that he's over 6ft tall and takes size 12 shoes!!:D )
    Do what you love :happyhear
