    Sixth Anniversary
    Morning everyone

Not too much happening here today - got MIL coming down later for her fortnightly 5 minute visit with my children - not really sure why she bothers - is 5 minutes really worth it???? It really does grate on me but i know i shouldnt get worked up over it as i am the only one who gets upset not her. Still enough about her!!!!!!! DD1 is upset at the moment as the only friend in her class has announced that she is leaving the school so obviously DD1 is devastated - not really sure what i can say to make it better i have tried the usual thing of i am sure you will find others to play with but when they dissolve into tears its difficult for them to see any sense especially when they are 10 years old!!! Has anyone got any words of wisdom??

Hope everyone has a good day

I've just put the bedlinen on the line ....... and then had to run back to it before the sheet literally flew off it ... the wind is a little strong here.

Here's to hoping I've now pegged it down enough ... otherwise the cars below are going to get a bit of a shock as they drive past.

At least it may dry ;)

Right, here's to getting upstairs cleaned in 58mins and lunch on the table ..... 1..2..3.. go!!!!

Posh Paws, I know what you mean, the other night he sat up in bed announced he was choking, and proceeded to do so, I rushed out of bed and round to his side, he just lay down and was asleep, me, I was up for the rest of the night!!!!!!!!! had to have a Brandy to calm me down, when I asked him about it in the morning he did not know a thing about it!!!!!!!!!GGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. He also snores when he is on his back, have treid everything to get him to turn over, but no....... he will not turn over until he is ready, then all the bedclothes go with him and I am left shivering on the edge of the bed. At least he has stopped chasing me over the bed, I used to wake up and he was right on my side of the bed, leaving me with no option but to get out and go round and get in his side, he would then proceed to roll back onto his own side!!!!!!!!!!! so out I got again.........I got so fed up with this one that I used to sleep on the sofa when he started, one night he fell out of bed, I got the blame because I was not there to stop him falling out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh the joys of being married to a sleep wanderer....... my friends husband was so bad they have seperate bedroom, not just beds, he talks in his sleep as well as throwing himself about. The doctors investigated her for leukemia when she went for a blood test she had so many bruises from him wacking her in his sleep...........

    Morning all

Popped into town with a friend to finish off the buying of stuff for "me"....3 pairs of trousers and 7 tops and all for the bargin price of £45...that's my summer wardrobe sorted, sold most of my stuff on ebay at the end of last summer as I'd lost a stone and dropped a dress size - will be nice to have stuff that fits this year.

Treated myself to some of this new "hint of a tan" body moisturiser with my boots points, a new mascarra and eye shadow, a shower gel and fav body spray from "savers" topped it all off with a new face moisturiser (only nivea - I swear by it) and a new necklace and earrings from Evans (most of the jewelery was £1 an item today).

My friend then treated me to breakfast - which was lovely but sooo filling, I shan't eat for the rest of the day.

Brekkie - DD's toast and cereal
Lunch - HM salami salad rolls for DD's and DH
Tea - Jacket potatoes and beans for them - I shall still be stuffed

Got the WM going before I went out - to windy to hang it out though - kitchen floor is washed, beds all aired and remade and generally tidy.

Got 3 little ones this afternoon, plus DD's after school - will be hectic but fun - they all get on so well.

Hope you're all having a wonderful day.

    Good Afternoon (just)

Well had a bit of a lazy one so far but gonna make up for it in a min. Just got to pay some wages online then going to change my bedding hoover stairs and downstairs. Lick over bathrooms and general tidy - hopefully washing will be dry by the time Ive finished so can iron it - am on a mission to keep on top of my ironing.

So far today have done 1 load of washing and emptied dw. Kitchen is always cleaned before anything else otherwise I cant concentrate on anything. Popped to morrisons & spent £38 but got a lot and saved £9 in bogofs, also managed to get Stardrops as per the other thread and will try it out later.

Only got DS at home this eve, so he will finish his homework and then play happily on his own (sister is out so no arguing) then will just have to pick up DD at 7pm.

B & L - had kippers earlier - not had for ages - were lovely
D - cheese pasta for DS & chicken casserole for OH & myself.

Thriftlady - I also only use butter - as you say I dont spead it thickly but Im the only one I know who does use pure butter - the thought of anything else on my jacket is unbearable.

Well off to get motivated - have a good day all.

I'm not alone then :rotfl: My OH generally stays on his side of the bed,but when he's under stress at work he has the most 'active' dreams. These usually involve building sites(he's in construction),often he gets up and starts telling people to dig holes, once he was convinced that the house was collapsing down a hole (earthquake?)and he grabbed me so hard to save me from the abyss he thought was opening in our bedroom floor that I could not escape!I was quite frightened because I just couldn't loosen his hold on me

Another time he became convinced there were spiders in our duvet and insisted on taking the cover off the duvet in the middle of the night. He often thinks there are snakes in the bedroom.Sometimes he gets up and yells to everyone else to wake up and get out of the house because he thinks there's some danger, only recently I had to stop him from waking all the children.

Of course he hardly ever remembers any of this, but I get quite worried that he might do something dangerous.
  • Im afraid this is ME.

i talk in my sleep at the best of times - when stressed i have been known to wonder around the house.
for those who dont know me - my job means i spend over half my life in hotels rooms - i now make myself wear jimjams when away from home after having an embarrassing moment in a plush hotel in singapore several years ago - woke up on the house phone in the corridoor on the 34th floor with a security man who had caught me on camera trying to save my modesty by wrapping me in a huge towel!!

    Afternoon all

    Hope everyone is well today

(((Tiptoes))) - sorry to hear your news

lol - brokenwings - that must have been a tad embarrising

My OH is not too bad a sleeper only occassionally does he shout but he does like to be right close to you in bed - we have a KS bed but I have about 3 ins to the edge at my side cos he is always right up close and tight beside me.

I assume PP was kept in yesterday as there has been no news .

Have got a stinker of a cold now - was coming down with it yesterday - spent the night on the couch last night with a quilt whilst watching TV (that was after making lunches for today, dishing up dinner and filling DW and tidying kitchen) the spent all night in bed tossing and turning and alternating between extreme heat and cold. got soaked at bus stop this morning to to it off.

Slightly quieter day at work today - have masses of paperwork to do this afternoon which I will need to get on with.

    b - bacon sarne
    L - rolls ham
    d - prawns and pasta

    have a lovely day all

    Take care
