Aww...poor Spud, hope he's better soon.

Busy day (once I get off here!)..quick mini supermarket shop, bus into town to do a few jobs. Light lunch and then into work for the afternoon.

First load in WM nearly finished - going to hang out as it's dry here (was sunny but clouding over..hmm..will it rain?).

Housework this evening..oh what an exciting day lol.

Anyone else noticed that Summer Time begins *again* on Mothers Day? No real lay-in's for us then Ladies!!!

    :hello: Morning apple :D:D

Delighted to read you had a good nights sleep :) Best tonic in the world!

powie - hoping ds will soon be on the road to recovery.

pawpurrs - :j Wooohooooo!!! :j Well done on your GOLD membership :T :T :T That is quite some achievement :T :T :T :T (sorry I couldn't help with your pms queries

PP - nice bunch of freebies there!

Postie delivered the maple syrup recipe book from the same freebie as the Honey one, so I'm all geared to try some lush new recipes over the next few months :D

Haven't done much this morning :o But I have set up the PMS Challenge for the new financial year. Despite all good intentions when it began last year, things went a bit squiff in Queenie-Land so this year I hope to be more strict with myself on the budget! :o

Had a wonderful touching moment when D10yo returned from school yesterday - his impatience got the better of him and he would have *burst* if he wasn't given an opportunity to give me the things he had made at school for Mothers Day.
A bunch of paper flowers, made to look like a bouquet :)
A cut out of a mummy with a description of what *he* thinks his mummy is ( considerate; golden hearted, gentle, gorgeous, my angel) and then a card in which he'd written his own poem:

    You are my angel
You raised me from my cradle
I couldn't wish for any other
    Then my very beautiful mother.

I melted :o:o:):):D:D Money simply CAN'T buy *that*!!!

Never win anything in competitions but yesterday thanks to Edinburghlass' reminder post in OS: Imperfectly Natural Woman I entered Martins competition (hope you've all entered your name too!) so I'm going to be an excited little bunny until the draw

Wishing you all a Super Saturday  :):):)

    Morning everyone :hello:

Awww, Lillibet, it's horrible when they do that. I think DS1 was 11 months old by the time I took him to A&E because he fell and banged his head - luckily he was fine. Better to be safe than sorry though, isn't it.

It's a miserable wet day here today. I think I'll see if I can get Mr TM to take the mouselings out with him so that I can get on and do something constructive. It's great they want to help - but it does take at least 3 times as long and needs doing again anyway :D They are currently building dens in DS1's room, so goodness knows what I will have to sort out later! :rotfl:

My ironing pile is now 3 full baskets so I shall have to do that today - or at least some of it. I'm babysitting tonight and as it's Mother's Day tomorrow -well :D Hang on, Mr TM is going out tomorrow night :( Ah well, it will be the first time in 3 years that he will spend the night before here, so I MAY get brekkie in bed (although as the clocks change tonight, it won't be the same cos I'll lose an hour)

I have no idea what's for tea - I'm managing to run the freezers down quite well on the meat/chicken front. It just seems to be full of naan breads, HM soup and stock now LOL I still have some mince in there so may do a shepherds pie. I'll take the organic chicken out today and invite mum over for lunch tomorrow too. (Hmmm, guess who'll be making that ;))

Right, off for a surf. Glad you're feeling better PP, and A-M, fab night's sleep....I'd love a night like that :)

 Oh Lillibet!! You poor thing!! (((hugs Lillibet & Spud))) I'm relieved to hear that Spud is ok, but I'm also only too familiar with how awful we 'Mum's feel when our babies are hurting.
Hope you have a good day at your Mum's, I'm sure she'll be delighted with her potted herb :)

    Good morning everyone,

Penny Pincher - so glad you are feeling better today, hopefully it will continue leading up to your hospital appt on monday.

Lillibet - poor Spud, hope he is ok today, i remember DS running into a radiator and banging his head when he was 10 months old (yes, he walked early, he was always on the go and never slept!!!, actually, hes the same now!!!) its very scary when something like that happens :grouphug:

Pawpurrs - WELL DONE YOU!!!! :T you must be really proud!!!

Apple - Mint - glad you got a better nights sleep.

Well, DS's football has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch :j , so no need to stand in a cold muddy field today!!! Will be looking after my friends children today tho, as she has split up from her fiance, and is moving out today, its such a shame, but she will be a lot happier once she is away from all the strain. Think we will go to Tescos and maybe get her some wine or something as i do have some bits to get myself.
Really want to clean upstairs as well today, as i always have little ones here, i can keep on top of all the cleaning downstairs, but dont get chance to go upstairs, so thats my plan for today, and if i feel up to it, i might even do my oven (was my challenge for this week, but so far have failed dismally!!!)
Well, thats all for now, hope everyone has a really good day, take care and hugs for everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    morning all

Hope every one is well today

Poor Spud - hope he is better today
Well done Pawpurrs in reaching a healthy weight
PP - glad to hear you are feeling better this morning

Normally have a long lie on a Sat but just couldnt sleep - something to do with 2 cats taking in turns to walk up and down me and the third meowing (sp) loudly down stairs. got up and came downstairs to all 3 sitting at their bowls waiting to be fed.

Went to Aldis yesterday for some mozeralla as having HM pizza for dinner bought some ham for sandwiches which was £1.79 (20p cheaper than ASDA) - stopped at Sainsburys on the way home to get pepperoni and some red wine (basics 2.06 a bottle) to use some Nectar points - spotted the same ham I got in Aldis for £2.99 - £1.20 dearer - how on earth can they justify that

Have a load of Darks in the WM to hang up - looks like it will be inside as it looks damp outside - which is a shame as one of my colleagues from work gets married today.

OH brought me some more e-books yesterday - over 100 recipe/cookbooks books - going to have a good look over them this morning - opened one last night a Greek cookbook and there is over 92 pages in it - all colour pictures etc

house will get tidied today once everyone else is up, will cook chicken for tomorrow dinner today - might do in the SC not decided yet, will make banana loaf as well.

roll on tomorrow - the smoking ban comes into place :j :j

    B - cereal
    L - ham sandwich
D - HM pizza and garlic bread

    Have a lovely day all

    Take care
